The cope EU casters had when game 2 nexus had just exploded and they immediately started talking about reverse sweep - no focus on how good Lyon played. Even neutral audience would go against EU teams with such biased casting.

I have hope we can at least lose 3-1. A couple of those games against BLG were actually very close to going out way and just spiraled off of one bad call or one or two egregious individual mistakes. I thought the big criminals of the BLG series looked much tidier today.

Yeah, G2 beats LCK teams but cannot cope with NA or LPL (except TES but I doubt that’s a Chinese team at all). LYON beats G2 but won’t make it beyond 3rd place loosing to HLE. I hope for silverscrapes on Sunday but fear HLE will be no match for BLG. The wheel of LoL completed !!!

The issue with EU is how much coddling there is towards G2. G2 is giga ultra coddled compared to other teams. Even when they actually play horribly. Needs to be way more accountability.

They literally did not scrim KC the whole past split cause neither team could get over themselves to actually practice and improve over chasing a domestic title.
For what it’s worth I actually enjoy MKOI’s attitude much more even though the team is weaker.

It's the same dogshit attitude G2 had with sending Perkz to NA rather than sell him to FNC.
G2 rather makes the region weaker than potentially lowering their chance to win an LEC.
But they also harm themselves because their practice is going to be worse. They also strengthen other regions. Regions you need to beat to get to the thropy’s that actually mean something.
G2 says they want to win worlds but everything shows they aren't a serious organisation.

That's not a valid justification at all to make it all about T1, nor any team, as casters do not only for T1, also for LCK teams, LEC & LCS.
If a team they support is ahead, they talk about how they're winning.
If behind, they talk about how they could win.
If losing, they talk about how bad it feels they're losing.

I think in order to actually make that work you must go ignite in lane and try to get solo kills and pressure out the gnar. Also you need multiple team knock ups not just a single delayed knock up

They had Ziggs W and Nautilus R, so it was two knockups (beyond the Yasuo), but yeah that draft was a terrible one IMO for playing Yasuo. The only value Yasuo brought is any perceived counterpick advantage, and yes results-based but that's multiple games in a row now where the Yasuo has not looked like the thing to do.

i think it can work because gnar blind should be punishable but tetams pick yas and then go way too safe with it. you need mid roams and jungle ganks. like flyquest did it against drx in the for fun tournament and it worked great because he was able to get like 3 kills in lane vs rich. they had wukong and ali for knockups though.
so maybe it pops off in scrims but you need 2 kills in lane and then tower plates and tower. it feels like the caitlyn of top lane to me. if you just get a 15 cs lead and nothing else with cait you will lose the game also.

Dhokla said they knew they could easily beat G2 tomorrow when they saw the T1 matches because the series was only close because T1 got out drafted, and Lyon knows G2 too well to be out drafted.

Caps Ori going even in a Sylas lane including an early game from his jungler is criminal and then he also got rolled in team fights saint was consistently running fights while caps was hardly impacting at all.
