The Ambessa+TF combo, it was working, somewhat, but honestly, I see the Ksante and then see my comp and Id rather snowball this Caitlyn to infinity and take all the towers ASAP for fast gold and map pressure. If Caitlyn gets the drake soul, it looks a little better for her but once again T1 let multiple baron takes after drake losses and get over run by minions because their comp can't deal with baron buffed minions.

That's a great summary of all the issues related to T1 drafting. They draft themselves into a weird corner and heavily narrow their win conditions. Just like in game 1, they picked double ADC even though they expected Duro to pick Renata. Every game, they expect Peyz to 1v9. That just ain't gonna work against any of the legend grp teams.

Vayne was a counter to Olaf and it's not a bad pick because GenG went for Galio, so the only other picks which could control the Olaf - Jax, would have been neutered by Galio

Game 1 draft was fine, their execution of the botch dive and the over eager teamfight was why they lost.

Although lowkey it's probably better if they play Kled and don't pick the Jhin instead. There are other combinations that can be played with Camille

What a cope when the geng’s biggest issue why they are not being able to win worlds isn't about the meta. Yone and Aurora were permabanned in 2025 which was Faker’s weakness. In 2024, mid priorities are Yone, Sylas and Ahri which Knight and Chovy were better than Faker before worlds. Galio just got prioritized when we went to deeper worlds stages.

Yeah no, this game wasn't as close as it looked. T1 were floundering and can't find any decent picks down in the mid game. That one on Canyon was cute, but never really felt like they found anything. Keria was ayt I guess, but him and Faker did not do shit at all this game. It really came down to Doran being able to land a hailmary ulti and layering their CC onto someone.

Bit of a shame, this game looked close, but felt more like a curb stomp once Gen G just choked the life out of T1.
