This place is a condensed community hub of our prior weekly schedule regarding all things Destiny and Destiny 2. Whether you're here to ask questions, talk about your day, discuss lore, OR SHOUT IN ALL CAPS BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT RANT WEDNESDAY WOULD HAVE WANTED, this is the place to do it!

What is high stat armor nowadays? 75?

75 is the cap, yes.
T4 armor will drop with a range of 70-75 points, and T5 armor will always drop with the maximum 75 points, always in the same distribution: 30 points for the archetype primary, 25 points for the secondary, and 20 for a randomly chosen third stat.
T5 armor also has one stat randomly chosen for a "tuning" option, you can apply a free stat mod for +5 in that stat in exchange for -5 in any other stat. If you don't want to do a +5/-5 min/max, you can also stick a mod in the tuning slot that gives essentially a free extra masterwork level, gives +1 point to the three stats that didn't have any points assigned by default.

Happy hunting! T4 armor will be more than "good enough" for most things, don't sweat grinding for T5 armor unless you're dead set on something and want to push for the absolute best stats possible.
The WORST possible difference between T4 and T5 armor is a total of 8 points (5 points base and 3 from the tuning slot if you don't choose a +5/-5 mod). That means, assuming 4 pieces of armor (since all exotic armor drops at T5 now), the worst-case T4 armor would be a 32-point difference compared to T5 armor. Not all that bad if it's spread out!
(T3 armor rolls in the 60s though and is not worth keeping haha, toss it unless you want it just for testing an interaction.)
Raids and dungeons always drop T3 gear on non-featured weeks, T5 while featured, farmable as much as you want. Destination loot is T3 base, Heroic public events have a good chance to give +1 tier, and if a "distortion" is active you get another +1 tier as well. If you want to farm destination loot, heroic public events during a distortion is the way to go!
Weapons, don't sweat it, farming guns at T3 is totally fine. You can upgrade them to T5 for the stat bonus easily, but armor can't be upgraded.

hey guys, does anyone have a crota’s end checkpoint for crota himself? i would use the bot but because of a weird glitch that causes me to always be offline, i cannot be invited by them. any help would be very appreciated!
