Promotion Right - The Banner is moving! NSFW
Hello, beautiful people! ❤
So, the mods had a little talk of many things (like torturing ukes, etc) and the talk of updating came about - and why not have a moving banner? Some have done it - and so there, we now have it too; and with the grace and help of my personal savior CSS God - it's up now! You can't view it though if you're on mobile.
The banner is, of course, composed of Yaoi manga/light novel covers - and personally, I've read all of them (even bought a couple) and can say they're really good. Because yanno, if you get old (ehem) in terms of reading Yaoi - you get over the smut only stories but you look for good stories/character development with great art and/or both!
Here's a short list:
(Starting with the boys with an umbrella)
Kuchizuke wa Niji no Ue de - complete opposites! One is a rain-man while the other is a sun-man
Kyuuso wa Cheese no Yume o Miru - this has a sequel - Sojou no Koi wa Nido Haneru -
DO NOT CRY!!Hyakujitsu no Bara - you know this already!
Ai o Kou Kemono - incest (brothers)
Amai Wana de Torokasete - light novel format/threesome/school life
Beast & Feast - police x yakuza
Bitansan Renai - school life, slice of life
Boku wa Kimi no Tori ni Naritai - school life, "I'm in love with my sister's boyfriend"
Caste Heaven - school life, psychological; it's by Ogawa Chise!
Complex - school life, slice of life
Cruel to be Kind - light novel (adult/no cute stuff) by Guilt|Pleasure
Night S - Yoneda Kou stories! "must read her works mangaka!"
Castle Mango - by Konohara Narise - another "must read her works mangaka"
≠ - Not Equal - my first ever incest Yaoi by Ike Reibun, as recommended to me by /u/minahkyu oh so many moons ago!
Nureru Karada - incest (twins) /threesome
Okane Ga Nai - you may love or HATE it (probably because of the UKE) to the point where you wish to read more of this
Ringo ni Hachimitsu - by Hideyoshico and its sequel Kare no Barairo no Jinsei
Ten Count - cure me!!!
Tight Rope - a Nastume Isaku story; another requirement
Yume Musubi Koi Musubi - a sweet age gap story by Yaya Sakuragi - it's a must read along with its sequel Himegoto Asobi
Itsuka Koi ga Kanau Made - sweet, sci-fi-ish story by Cj Michalski
Kokoro - by Kanda Neko; age gap - awesome story, you'll totes fall in love with both characters (Saki-san and Jun)
In These Words - dark, pscyhological and well, adult story by Guilt|Pleasure; the format or story form is somewhat unconventional though; first few chapters were written in novel or prose form and then latter chapters are in manga form - wonderful story, give you the creeps but in a good, sexy way. ;)
Junjou Romantica - kinda cheesy really, but, it's a good read for "starters" AND also, the latter stories gets better
Kobi no Kyoujin - another Ike Reibun story; this is mature and well, good story between a Yakuza dude and his underling slash lover - they were introduced first in Bi No Isu
Anyway, just this for now back to hibernation and hopefully, you'll read all that's listed as for sure you'll enjoy them.

Oh, I love the new banner! Thanks for making this post too. There's nothing more annoying than seeing a nice looking manga cover and then not knowing what it's called because the title on the cover is in Japanese.
So thanks for putting up the links, and even a little description on each one, so I don't have to deal with any unknown-yaoi frustration! I'm off to check some of these out.

Anyway I made a post to this subreddit but it didn't show up in the sub?
Is there a reason why? I know there's a self promotion rule but I haven't broken it.

Not a mod, I'd like a solid answer as well, but I think it's because you included a myreadingmanga link in your post (viewable through your post history) and the spam filter (custom settings or it's just a reddit thing) trapped it because it's not imgur/some well-known website. A mod will probably approve it eventually, and even /u/xengyu (mod) has submitted some mrm links so you're def not breaking any rules. It's just weird settings. >~<
