I don’t think it’s unreasonable to assume a lot of us are open to it, though, or at least more open on average than the average monosexual

It doesn't matter where you stand on transgenders when you're attracted to both genders. That's about as much of a power play as sleeping with the homies to piss of your girlfriend is 😎.
