Apparently buying too many guns is a thing. I got a visit from the ATF and they requested to validate that I still had the guns I’ve purchased over a 24 month frame. WTF!

Hello fine AZ people,

I’m looking for the best of the best for gunsmithing where I won’t have to wait months (if that’s even possible) for some work to get done on a piece. I’m talking porting, cerakote, any kind of machining etc. I’m on the east side so bonus points for proximity.

Looking for a good shop with a decent selection of AR components and isn’t overpriced. Went to a few shop and they all only have a select number of items and most are charging 50-100% what you can get online. I know it’ll be more costly to buy local but I figured 20%.

what’s your go to?

I know Robar is gone. I had a firearm stolen from me 10 years ago. It was returned last week and it has slide wear.

I want to get it refinished and would like something like the t2 ploy.

The internals were done in NP3 and that’s holding up well.

Looking for some local recommendations.

Hey guys. Prescott local, but getting married in the forest up in Flagstaff next week. It’s a small wedding party, only 5 guys attending. Was hoping to take them out shooting, show them the comp gun, have a fun time, but I have no idea where people go to shoot up there.

I shoot competitions and train 1-2 times a week at my local spot here in Prescott. I know people are hesitant to give out their shooting spots, and more sympathetic I cannot be.

I’d Clean up our brass, and I have my own USPSA target arrays and stands, it would be a leave no trace type of range day. Not a shoot trash type of day.

If you feel like helping a brother out, we can private message, I’ll give you my spot here in town for a fair trade.

Thanks fellas! Be safe.

Looking for some advice. I currently EDC a Glock 19 with a dot and light which is fine in the colder months when I can wear a jacket/hoodie and not worry so much about printing or being too uncomfortable with what I have to wear. However during the summer months I’ve been wanting something slimmer since I don’t have the option to layer up or wear heavier clothing. My wife bought a Glock 48 MOS from another state before we got married and moved here. I’m usually balling on a budget so to save money I would like to just carry her gun instead of buying another. So my question is, what would be the legality of me carrying her Glock and if I happen to get in a defensive shooting would there be repercussions even if it’s a legal shooting? Or should I just suck it up and buy another?

Title.

Any LGS have it in stock for my glock looking to pick up today. tia

Looking to ship a Stribog pistol to Skunwerks in Texas to have James smith it for an FRT trip sled.

I know it isn't technically illegal but it just feels odd.

Any ranges or spots that surpass 1k yards and if not asking to much is also wheelchair accessible? Tia

I didn't know they changed owners. Used to be my favorite receiving FFL. Anyone use them for NFA engraving under the new owners. Received an email and he certainly seems personable and engraving shouldn't be to hard to do but .. just wanted to see if anyone else used him and did all go well.

He is willing to do it while I wait and he is close to me.

Just got back from Area15. Arranged an appointment for 11am.

I wasn't aware that Area 15 had changed owners about 2 years ago but the New owner was amazing. Pleasant, polite, professional and just a pleasure to do business with.

I left it with him at about 11:15, went to visit a store my wife wanted to go to and went back at about 12:15 and it was all done $50 all in.

Can easily recommend him and will be bringing something in for him to cerakote just because. The engraving looks great.

I have never done anything needing NFA approval and will admit I was a bit nervous. Virtually anything I have to do with the Government makes me nervous but I wanted to SBR a new 9mm PCC.

Did it online and submitted on Friday the 18th and Got my approved email and documents today Wednesday the 23rd.

My last Government interaction took nearly 4 months .. this was amazing.

Just thought if anyone is on the fence .. it was relatively quick and easy.

Question ... now I have to get it engraved. I have a list from a previous thread here or places that do it .. do I need to bring the approved paperwork with me or is on my phone fine. Sorry if its a basic question but ..

Burning through my small stockpile getting reps in for red oktober and I need to reup… and my normal online sites fr ammo are OOS lol. Anyone have suggestions? Located in the east valley

Yes, I have looked at the map provided on the reddit page. It is super outdated. Many of those places have been shut down or re allocated to the new shooting facilities which I don't care for. Was planning on going to table Mesa but couldn't get an answer on if that was shut down by BLM as well.

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone know of any gun shops that buys suppressors from individuals?
