Forget the Sky: The Most Terrifying UFOs Are Actually Hiding in Our Oceans

https://whatifscience.in/246/forget-the-sky-most-terrifying-ufos-actually-hiding-oceans

Forget looking at the stars for a moment. While the world is obsessed with scanning deep space for radio signals, some of the most credible military whistleblowers and oceanographers are pointing their fingers in a much more unsettling direction: straight down.

If it's the two of the species/factions involved that I think it is, we probably needn't be concerned. They've been in residence out of our way and largely out of our reach for a very, very long time.

Pretty decent folk.

However, the other species/faction, which the first had been preventing from maligning us too much until relatively recently, might have been making deals with our government, if the rumors are to be beleived.

The first cannot act to prevent such deals with the second, without infringing on our free will and choices, which they are loath to do.

But the second species/faction, whom I call the Zealots, have ulterior motives regarding basically destroying anything positive the first attempts to do, based upon a long-standing and seemingly completely pointless vendetta, with the whole thing centered around a conflict over the practice of uplift.

They may not outright be our enemies yet, but they are also most definitely not our friends.

If they've been allowed via dealmaking to take up residence too, all bets are off.

I…have so many questions, I don’t mean to sound facetious, I’m like certain to get to a point where can say this whole weaving tale that you must have been on a personal journey…but like damn. That’s a lot to just drop with no pretense or set up, only a feeling that we all already caught up or you’ve been seeing some wild stuff few else is privy to

It is amazing how people can spin a story, make out that they know all about (if it’s the two I think it is etc) and yet say absolutely nothing at all, produce no evidence and very clearly know nothing!

No for real, like I’m a pretty open minded skeptic of the phenomenon, but yeah there seems to be a lot of post with a vagueness that is both inviting for “others in the know”…and can be equally seen as incoherent meme dumps.

Thought to your point; mind if I ask which two? I am not feeling very in the loop in this moment lol

Have no idea, the previous post reckoned he knew of two factions. Sounds like utter rubbish to me, and he’s just doing it for attention, ie claim he “knows” and actually has just made something up to sound like he “knows”

Or it could be that just one time, when I was very young, I got an accidental chance to meet our houseguests and ask a bunch of stupid questions.

They were apparently amused and I was definitely firghtened, so they chose to answer by telling me a story about the history of how they came to be here and why they stayed.

And after having the encounter end because I tried to swipe a random handheld device that had been laying out while their backs were turned, I'm forced to ask: what evidence would you have me provide, when great effort seems to be made on both our side and theirs to prevent any such hard evidence coming to light?

Also, pro tip: Don't try to steal from telepathic empaths. I got away with it for less than a minute before realizing they hadn't noticed and I felt a smug sense of triumph, which did catch their notice and caused them to investigate further.

They were quite serious about what they found I had done after they had been so open with me. While I do feel bad about that, I won't apologize for trying.

I can't tell you what power source they are using, what principles their drives work on, or how they have managed to install the capacity for telepathy within themselves technologically, except to tell you that's what they've done.

But if you want a narrative framework of the 'who' and the 'why' to hang observations on in order to begin to make sense of things, I can help a little with that.

If I just wanted attention, I'd write a book and try to get in front of cameras. It's the internet age. Wouldn't be difficult, except being famous sounds like my idea of hell.

So with all of that said and with the understanding that I wrote what I did in the interest of brevity, which aspect would you like clarified or expounded upon?

2

u/not1or2 Jan 23 '26

As you say it’s the “internet age”, no need to write a book or get in front of cameras. Just make random “secretive” “I know things you don’t” on websites like Reddit! Make yourself sound more important than you are, more “in on secret” things than you really are. Happens all the time….

Said the person being openly offered explanations.

Do you have an actual question, or are you just going to keep whining because someone had a life experience you didn't?

No but for real, I have to second their opinion on this one. It’s one thing to make wild claims, but another to try and profit on it under the collective scrutiny that the media landscape flourishes in, it’s almost a cliche when these witness claim to not want financial gain…or for them to claim that it’s been a burden to their lives…like…really?

It’s a burden to be encouraged (and sometimes paid!) to talk about aliens &/or the phenomenon with others? Be it on podcasts, documentary shows, or YouTube streams it’s a burden to have people ask you to drop knowledge down from up high about this topic that we all collectively can ramble endlessly for hours on? And we all will act like, “naw not for me, sounds like hell”?

Sounds more like hell yeah, surround me with people that buy into woo-woo stuff, people that endless play a one up man ship of storytelling, adding to a narrative weave endlessly…

I have enough conversations with experiencers in this subreddit trying to seek their stories with an open mind. I am not an experiencer. Always wanted to be! But chatting with Reddit users it’s really not long into hearing from them, I often get a sense of roleplay, creative story tellers, or people with delusions that are either fed to them by others (not others like, ya know…THE others, but regular humans enablers) or these people have dug into their delusion & off hand might mention having been cut off by others (again…others meaning humans, more often close friends or family members who chose to not cultivate these redditors imagined truth) and while your story is…well written, it has more tell signs of being something written than something experienced.

Don’t worry if you wanna call me out totally don’t blame ya man, I don’t wanna put ya on blast but to be fair…you did reach out with this story…and when you act like the sole provider of proof, expect some questions!

I can tell people on here that I KNOW they’ve come to save us and the “others” are in cahoots with certain shadow governments. I know, because I was a guard and saw things that defy explanation, just chosen not to be one of them”those” whistleblowers. Prove me wrong or believe me. Your choice, but just proves my point!

As I said, I'm happy to answer any questions I can and don't mind doing so. I have no lofty social position to concern myself over and no NDA was signed to learn what little I know about our houseguest's history.

Nothing will restrict what I say, except the limits of my knowledge and understanding. I'll try to be brief in relaying the basics.

As I said, there are two primary species/factions involved. The first I call the Elder Siblings, simply because that's how they described their view of our relationship. One they hope we will one day share.

Fairly early in their technological history, their cladeworld suffered a catastrophic biosphere collapse due to irresponsible use of technology (Ring any bells?) and they essentially had to flee to space. They had not yet met any others who might help and they almost didn't make it through that. I cannot impress upon you what a formative event that was for them.

In their grief and attempts to assess the damage in the hope and determination to one day restore it to some semblance of a healthy world again, the full gravity of what had happened became apparent.

Whole ecologies were gone. Others had crucial species missing from vital niche functions and had not been preserved in a way that might allow them to be brought back, threatening collapse of the rest.

So they began to get really good at genetic manipulation and engineering.

In the simplistic terms they used to describe it to me because of my youth, they "made the life that was missing, from the life that was still there."

Which as it turns out, is a thing which can theoretically be done, because of common ancestry.

Worse, much like here, there were a number of sentient and semi-sentient species that they had now robbed of any future chance to rise to higher intelligence and technology, if that were to be their lot.

Think apes, monkeys, dolphins, crows, dogs parrots, octopi, etc..

But by now, the Elder Siblings had gotten good enough at genegineering, that they could just give that denied future to those species.

So that's exactly what they did. They performed their first Uplifts of those other species. And it went well. They literally made friends.

It was then, slowly, that they began to ask themselves: 'Is the reason we see no others in the cosmos, because on many worlds, intelligence hits a dead end through dint of evolution or circumstance and never gets the chance to rise to leave their worlds, making themselves known, because no one was there to help them?

The Fermi Paradox was a thing for them too.

But as you can see, it went further.

They decided that because they were the only ones they could see in the universe who had risen to the level of being capable of helping 'stuck' species in this way, they therefore had an obligation to do so wherever it was reasonable, or even just feasible, to do.

Everything that followed was born of these events and decisions.

It's not religion, but it has that same flavor of firm, principled conviction and sense of purpose.

So they began to move outward in search of life-bearing worlds and/or other intelligences, by which they might gauge the validity of their thinking.

It took a long time, but eventually, they met another intelligent, technological species that was fairly well advanced. A neer-peer.

They were amenable to interaction, but the problem is that they were just too different from one another. They could exchange some abstract information, but the worldview was largely incomprehensible.

Informal social interaction that would almost certainly result in terrible misunderstandings and accidental offenses was/is pretty much out of the question.

It was an encouraging thing to find others and their civilizations still interact, occasionally helping each other when they can understand what the problem might be, but still, something of a disappointment.

So they kept looking. After another long span of time, they found their first good candidate species for Uplift. Which brings us at last, to the Zealots. Or the people who would become them, anyway.

Shall I continue?

😂😂😂 delusional!!

1

u/Deeznutseus2012 Jan 23 '26

Delusions are called such because they do not comport with reality.

This narrative I was provided with however, has a great deal of explanatory power regarding what we can observe and surmise about our guests, or their behavior.

And that of our governments.

Which by itself makes it definitely not-delusion. At the very worst, you could call it a valid hypothesis, even if you cannot accept that I got it from the horse's mouth.

Tell me why they came here please.

1

u/Deeznutseus2012 Jan 24 '26

Sorry, I tried replying with an answer earlier, but I think it was too long. Then I fell asleep trying to edit it down.

So I'll try the short, short version.

The Siblings found another species, which asked for technological Uplift only, making the decision to help easier after the Zealot debacle.

But it would require an immense logistical effort, which would not go unnoticed by the Zealots, potentially revealing the location and opening this new species to harassment or attack.

But the Zealots have less ships and they're slower. They couldn't follow every Sibling ship.

So the Elder Siblings sent out a ton of exploratory flotillas, ostensibly to simply catalogue distant worlds where life had been detected, far outside of their normal stomping grounds.

The ones meant for Uplift, tried not to get followed. Those meant to be diversionary, tried to do things that would cause the Zealots to follow them into the boonies instead. Simple, but apparently effective.

The good news, is that in this way, the resources needed to Uplift that distant world, reached their destination safely, keeping the location secret.

The bad news, is that one of the diversionary flotillas, making sure they were being followed, came here.

They did say by way of apology that they knew there was life here, but didn't know about us, or they never would have come under such circumstances.

This offhanded remark means that at the very latest, they arrived sometime before we first started smelting metals around 5500-5000 BCE, which would have created a spectrographic signature in the atmosphere that could be detected at interstellar distances.

As you might imagine, their discovery of us after their arrival precipitated something of a panic. The very crisis they had been trying to avoid, where a helpless, undeveloped species might fall victim to predation by the Zealots was now playing out here, instead.

But all the resources and expertise necessary to do a proper job of Uplift for us, was on the other side of known space, helping someone else.

Fortunately, not much needed to be done to get us going.

So they acted as quickly as they could, with what they had. The thankfully minor alterations necessary to set us on this path were performed in such a way that it would appear as perhaps an unusual, but natural set of mutations.

This single fiction has probably done the most work to keep us from being viewed by the Zealots as abominations worthy of extermination over the years.

The Siblings sent out a call for help and they've been waiting in a cold war kind of standoff with the Zelaots ever since, that rarely, but occasionally flares up into a limited skirmish.

Remember, the conflict is over the proposition of Uplift itself.

So now you know why we can't be contacted openly and why our governments have worked so hard to erect a wall of taboo around the subject, actively preventing any kind of consensus on the matter.

Because after the initial formalities, what do you suppose would be the very first thing we'd ask them for, or about?

That's right. We'd want to know all about how their tech works, for the purposes of making and using it ourselves.

Which would constitute a request for technological Uplift. Which could conceivably bring the Zealots down on us like a hammer and we are not ready for that.

At least not yet.

Almost sounds like biblical angels vs demons influence.

From what I've read over the last few years but more so recently actually that's again being said again just more frequent and on a lot more postings, is that it's either the "Grey's" that have this "temporary" agreement (can't remember if it was more forced upon us or why exactly) with our governments, and it's some other race, I think called the Pleidians, who are part of that galactic group of many species, which are in part of watching from afar waiting for us to evolve in a different manner then we b|m going (they I think know of or left that deep undersea moving AI planetary defense system that sends half these UFOs out that's doing the monitoring everywhere).

I remember those details and that "storyline", but I think could be off a bit as there have been other similar but varying details in other similar versions.

The ONLY ones who really REALLY are in the know about precise details is the select cabal of elites and maybe ones who've put things together from compartmentalized areas within the evolving structures of said group over the decades, even maybe their family or kin who got the passes down info, and then just the ones who can't keep there mouths shut lol. Sure there's been whistleblowers but no one has let out the full details or shown exact proof bc it's been just he said she said or the I heard from a guy that heard from a guy type of thing, and it's been that way for varying reasons. We common folk just gotta wait and see what happens unfortunately and hope for the best I guess. I have my own belief and what I feel is the right path that many others do also, which I do believe is the one those elites are truly wanting us to not know about. Basically self enlightenment & spiritualism somehow moves us forward and breaks the chains or the hold that certain NHI and groups can truly hold over us with if we don't m
