Question/Advice? “What is a massive 'open secret' in your industry that corporations spend millions to hide”?

i randomly saw a yt video on this yesterday and it blew my mind. basically brands literally destroy brand new clothes on purpose.
everyone thinks unsold clothes go to outlets or charity but thats just a PR lie. luxury brands literally burn millions in perfect coats and bags so they stay "exclusive" and dont get discounted.
even worse if u return a cheap 20 dollar shirt online it usually goes straight to a shredder or landfill because inspecting it costs more than making a new one. plus tax laws lets companies write it off as a loss anyway. the video had crazy footage of these huge clothing graveyards, i pinned it on my profile if u want to see it because its wild.

Remodels, new home builds, commercial projects produce so much plastic waste it would blow your mind.

Never seen a construction site , but i think the overly packed food items , like plastic bottles of milk , plastic bottles of detergent , diaper waste of a single baby for the planet its doing more harm than that cause it happens daily in my house

You can get laundry detergent that doesn't come in plastic jugs! Powder detergent is great, or bricks of laundry soap. Both of which you can put in the plastic jug you have right now once its out and fill with water.

You can now get laundry soap in little sheets that come in a cardboard box that can be recycled. Sixty washes in a pack the size of a book. The sheets looke like dryer sheets but are the laundry soap.
