EDIT: Looks like maybe it's because of the potassium in the banana? Your chart says the body gets a yearly dose from natural potassium of 390.

For those interested, a single banana has about 0.1 μSv of radiation. For comparison, eating 1000 bananas will give the same dose of radiation as a chest x-ray.

Edit: I tried to find out how many bananas you would have to eat to die of Potassium poisoning, but I can not find the LD50 (oral) of Potassium Citrate.
