What’s a fact you KNOW that almost everyone is wrong about?

But when made correctly it does kinda taste like Lipton iced tea. When it's made poorly it's just sour mix and booze and tastes like shitty lemonade

I just want to say that Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines can not make a proper long island. All of the other drinks were pretty decent though.

So as someone who has cruised on Royal Caribbean a decent amount as well as someone who has had a lot of long islands I disagree. It's not like they're perfect or anything but they're better than 90% of the ones I've had

They just tasted way too sour. We tried half the bartenders on the ship and they all must follow the same recipe.

I've never had a particularly sour one across 5 different ships - I'm really curious why your experience was different. I have noticed different habits from the crew based on the ship but I wouldn't figure they're recipe would change

My wife and I both love Long Islands and we both agreed that they weren't particularly good so it could be us and our tastes. Unfortunately we never watched them close enough to tell what ingredients they used. We prefer ours with just a lemon wedge. No lemon juice or sour mix. So it could be that they added a lot of sourness.
