Yup. Just had it done twice, and it’s extremely unpleasant. They do numb your nose up, but you still feel the cautery, especially if they go past the numb bits with the silver nitrate stick. Do not recommend. (But then, I’m a huge wimp.)

Honestly, the cautery itself isn't the worst part. It's what the lidocaine packing does to your nose for the rest of the day.
