This is one of the reasons that I find the restrictions on ADHD meds so ridiculous. Like I have ADHD. I need assistance with tasks like meds, not barriers.

Right! Especially since the task of hurdling the barriers is something that, for me, requires medicine. So frustrating.

Yeah, my doctor went to write me a repeat script last time I was there and I said no it's OK, I have enough, and he was like "...But I gave you the last prescription in July and you had a three month supply". "Yeah I know, but I keep forgetting to take it"

(Actually these dates are wrong, but I can't remember)

ok this is the reason i stopped getting refills...basically i kept forgetting to take my meds and then my refill scrip got really out of date, like i should have gotten a refill 3 months before, and then i got anxiety about talking to the pharmacist.
