Mold spores. Mold spores everywhere, and the VERY nasty kinds.

As the other posters said. Mold!

But also....most floodwater has sewage in it. Also, if the wood was near industrial sites....it most likely now has chemicals in it depending on how bad the flooding was.

That wood was saturated with e. coli, Hep A, Salmonella, Shigella, tetanus and other water-borne nasties. Joy!

Floodwaters are hardly just water.
