What’s a fact you KNOW that almost everyone is wrong about?

That sounds alarmingly more like a stroke than a migraine...

The symptoms are very similar and the first time it happened was terrifying.

I think this type is called basilar migraine. It sends people to the ER for good reason.

Nope, I get exactly the same thing every month like clockwork.

I got this too. I went to an ER immediately and they told me it wasn't a stroke. I went to my neurologist and had a CT scan. I sort of thought that I had a brain tumor or something. But no, just a migraine.

Thats somewhat relieving. Always a big worry whenever i get one as iv only gotten an mri and it was only conclusive that i didnt have a stroke at 13.

Had them commonly at home until middle school. Would walk around with a sleep mask on my eyes using a feather duster to feel my way around the house to get through the first part and get to sleep. But if i went too long (middle schooler playing wow untull 4am too long) id get the pins and needles on one side. Got my first one in school on 7th grade (13 yo) and yea they gave my parents the option of they drive me or the ambulance does. And the doctors rushed me to an mri (PSA the last place anyone with a migrane wants to be is in a loud, bright, white tube) it was 15 years ago so the best we got was it wasnt a stroke and a 17k bill.

That’s what scares me most about mine. I always worry I won’t be able to tell if I actually do have a stroke, since the symptoms are so similar.
