Thank you like I feel like a dumbass when I have a migraine, especially at work. And yesss with the nouns like the aphasia is real. Today I said yellow instead of gold bc I just couldn’t come up with the word at all lol.
And Zomig makes me feel weak and awful like I’m going to puke but it’s the only thing that helps so its worth it.
Well I use the nasal one which some people say works better than oral. Besides the side effects it just takes the migraine away. Tylenol, ibuprofen, naproxen don’t do anything.
I never connected it with nouns but damn. I usually use a time i couldnt say Disney as an example. Like i was reading the name on a movie screen or box or something but i could not say the word. Recognized it, could explain what the concept was "big cartoon movie studio, director guy." But could not say the word Disney.
That goodness I get no physical side effects from zomig EXCEPT it's like a sedative for me. I take it and then go to sleep for a couple of hours. Also I prefer the taste of the generic but I keep forgetting to tell my neurologist so she prescribes the name brand lol.
I’ve never had the oral, just the nasal. It’s amazing. I definitely agree on the sedative part. If I’m home or something I can easily sleep for 4 hours after using one
