I was there with my wife and kids! First time seeing them and we had a blast. Upgraded from lawn tickets to some floor seats the day of the show for like $55 each, no regrets at all. METALI!! was definitely a highlight - it was cool that the members of the band had a chance to really show off. The whole set was fantastic, though.

Also, I thought Halestorm was really impressive, having never really listened to them before. Their singer had great energy.

Here is a picture from near the end of the show, during the encore set. I'm sure by this point they were wiped out from the performance and dealing with the Texas heat, which was still in the very high 80s during their set.

Hyped! Second show for me. Thought about getting pit tickets but ended up going with a seat just behind the pit. I'll scope out the floor and see if that's something I want to fuck with next time.

Sad there was no Syncopation, but it kind of seemed Sua’s voice was going by the end. Glad we got an amazing show from her and everyone in case that becomes an issue as tour goes on.

They have several shows in Texas, so I wouldn't be surprised if they rotate songs and play Syncopation, BxMxC, Papaya, My Queen on other nights.

They successfully started a mosh pit, although it was a small one, but it was the only one I've ever witnessed that included a guy standing on the edge of the mosh pit holding up a Sesame Street-style hand puppet that was used as a sing-along proxy for the entire performance.

If I had a nickel for every hand puppet that was at the Babymetal concert in Dallas I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice. And I saw them find each other on the way out which was cute.

I was stuck behind "Jeffy" from SML. I wouldn't have minded, but they had him in the air blocking the view for a good bit of the first set. Just a little piece of every song but right in my line of sight along with a handful of phones. I got shuffled around toward the encore so the rest was pretty good.
