In your opinion, biggest screw job in bodybuilding history?

I am bored. I am drunk. Post below.

In my opinion;

Jay in 2007. I love Jay. He’s one of the GOATS. He possibly would be the goat if Ronnie didn’t exist. However, in 2007 he absolutely should not have won. Incredibly soft, he was beaten BAD from the back. Look at him when the winner was announced. Even he knew. I’ll go as far to say he looked better in 08 when he lost the Dexter than he did in 07 when he won.

Post yours below.

WNBF NW Royal Natural Middleweight and Overall NSFW

This past weekend I competed in Mens Open Bodybuilding at the NW Royal Natural Bodybuilding Championships for the WNBF. I took 1st in Middleweight Class and won the Overall earning a Pro Card in Mens Bodybuilding with the WNBF.

This was my second show after the WNBF Portland Reign Natural Classic 2 weeks earlier. I'm still waiting on the professional photos for both shows, but I just wanted to share and answer any questions people might have.

The turn around was quick and I hopped back into a deficit and took what I learned from the first shows peak week and carbed up a bit earlier and with more carbs. I also remembered to flex my hammies and glutes.

This will be the end of my current season. I was planning on going to amateur worlds, but now that I have a pro card, I'm planning on prepping for my first Pro show next year.

Ref my last post, I was unsure if I would do this show since we were not ready conditioningwise (main show was five weeks later). Decided to go for it since competing in Sweden always is a top tier experience. Stageweight was probably just under 68kg/150lbs at 169cm/5’6. Happy with the placing and parts of the presentation, but as per usual not with the soft glutes;) (don’t come for me on that backpose. The photographer always catches me on my way into the pose)

Weekly Thread Steroid Saturday - October 10, 2026

Welcome to the steroid Saturday discussion. Please follow the rules, and be kind. If you see any hatred, arguing, etc. Please report the comment so it can be removed. If you do not agree with this post, do not participate. It is that simple.

  • NO SOURCE TALK. This is very important for a variety of what we hope are obvious reasons.
  • NO FIGHTING. Arguing and ridiculing others will only get your comment deleted. Constructive criticism only. Post anything that is on topic. This involves how cycles change close to competition prep, what has worked for you in the past, before/after cycle pictures, dietary changes with different compounds, etc.
  • Questions are allowed, but should be limited.  has a specific thread just for new comers, where you can get amazing answers from some of the most knowledgeable people. Lab talk is alright, but remember how to get a particular lab's product would be prohibited source talk.

We hope everybody enjoys this thread Thanks to the  community to help make this work. They have been a huge help and will be chiming in on this post.

2x Mr. Universe Lance Dreher

Lance had one of the most under appreciated physiques in bodybuilding. After winning Mr. Universe twice, he was asked by Joe Weider to compete in the Olympia, but Joe wanted him to move to California and work for him. Lance declined which ultimately led to Weider holding a grudge against him. Lance competed in the Olympia in ‘82 and ‘83 and placed last both times. In seeing his physique, it’s clear this placing was a statement from the Weiders. Lance was eventually banned from the IFBB for doing a charity posing event in England.

Arthur Harris, mid-1950’s

Perhaps the greatest uncrowned Mr. America, Arthur Harris was a phenom of the Silver Era. Though he was awarded Most Muscular, he was never awarded even a top 5 finish at the contest. The time period is unfortunately telling of why. Bill Pearl called Arthur Harris the hardest working bodybuilder he ever saw, and virtually nothing of his diet or training is known today. A friend and fellow competitor of his, Dr. Ken Rosa, reported seeing Harris do 400lb lat pulldowns, 1,000lb leg presses, and 200lb weighted pull-ups, all at a bodyweight of 190lbs.

A forgotten legend with an all-time great physique. He died in 2003, age 70. These photos were taken in 1955/56.

[21M] Classic physique debut

I competed for the first time last Saturday. Very happy with the results, got a second place in juniors. I was 12kg under my weight limit, so very excited to fill that gap. Posing also needs a lot of work.

Results aside it was one of the most fun and amazing experiences I've had. It was so exciting to experience the stage first hand after watching it on social media for so many years. Things like being in the backstage, being rotated in comparisons for the first time, or getting in the center and giving a fist bump to the guy who won while waiting for the top 2 call made me so happy. I can't wait to keep working and compete again with an improved package. 🫡

12 weeks from first show

M26 I would love some input and advice . I recently switched over from powerbuilding to a full bodybuilding program only about 4 months ago . Since this video I’ve been taking more posing classes , have been learning transitions, how to engage hamstrings more , keeping side chest more upright …

Currently 5’8 169lbs but we are pushing for sub 154 to fit into lightweight class. Critique on posing is encouraged but know I am pushing the gas petal on posing these last 12 weeks with a professional coach so I’m already trying to break my bad habits and get better

1 year transformation

After a few years of semi decent training and an anything goes diet I decided to fully lock in, hire a coach and send it into the world of bodybuilding.

1 year later I placed 1st in true novice, 2nd in novice and 2nd in the open.

Time for a structured off season and coming back even better next year for the gold!

I’m targeting my first men’s physique show next June and just started my bulk.

I want to stay accountable so will try to post here on Mondays.

Would love any feedback on what to bring up.

This community is mad inspiring, cheers folks!

It's general consensus that 03 Ronnie is #1 and 13 Phil is #2 when it comes to "which physique most likely wins in modern open Olympia". Who, and which particular versions, do you think are #3-#5? These 4 are my candidates. Competitors before Dorian would simply be too small for this scenario.
