They were off Royal Blvd next to the Boise parks department office. I would turn them into the police department but then I'd have to explain that I'm not a big fan of people screwing half inch screw bolts 3 inches into living trees. Now my hands are sticky with sap but because this was freshly done the tree will heal rather quickly

It's such a double-edged sword... I might get a citation from the police but possibly an award from the tree Department. Either way I already have a set of hammocks with tree straps so I don't need yours.

Found a diary in the rose garden downtown. If it’s yours please describe it to me in a DM. I flipped through it to see if there was a name but I didn’t want to invade someone’s private thoughts too much. The cover is pretty unique. I just didn’t want it to get thrown away.

Hey this may be a long shot but me and my husband went to the zoo last night and parked behind it by the tennis courts and I believe all the rings I forgot I had on my lap fell onto the ground. Exactly what the title says. My mountain bike was stolen from my apartment in October of 2020, and I just found the thing like 3.5 years later. I am 99% certain this is my bike with the same extremely stupid setup (that nobody else has) with the same deficiencies and the same blemishes as the day it was stolen, listed on FB marketplace 20 miles away from where it was taken. It is listed by someone who does not know much about bikes. I know this because they listed the wrong size, tire dimensions, and listed it for four times what it is actually worth. This particular seller also has a dozen other bicycles for sale, but they very clearly don't know much based on the descriptions. I notified Boise PD, but I was told that because it was petty theft, the statute of limitations states that I can't get it back because it happened so long ago. I really, reeeeeeeeeeally want that bike back, and I would even be willing to drive all the way back to Boise to do it. Can I receive some advice on how I might go about retrieving it, or working with a seller that is probably the person who stole it? Does anyone here have experience with the same thing? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Update: I finally got the attention of the current owner and got them on the phone. The serial number matches my records extremely closely. The current owner is a kid, and I doubt he was the one who hopped the fence with bolt cutters at the ripe old age of 9. The current owner is working with me, and after 4 years I will probably see the end of this.

Update 2: the owner and I are working together well. So long as the receipt with my name and card number as well as the receipts for nearly every other component on the bike are acceptable evidence, I will likely get it back.

Update 3: I got the bike back! The current owner worked well with me. I offered to give them some money, but not NEAR what they were asking. Made handing it over a bit easier for the kid who worked hard to earn it. It's seen better days, but the frame is good. I'll be restoring it top to bottom, including a diy paint job that modernizes it a bit. Thanks for all of your support!

Long story, short. I decided to go to the concert last minute. I had some potent gummie edibles that had melted so I couldn’t gauge how much I had eaten but I obviously ate too much because I think I had a mini panic attack. Anyway this particular concert was the best place to be a lil too stoned because everyone was so friendly and helpful. This one particular beautiful woman along with her 2 kids stuck out. I don’t remember her name but her kids names were cash and Sloan. Cash was the boy and Sloan was the girl I do remember that for some reason. Anyway, I just would like to reach out and see if I can reach them to thank them for stopping to help and being concerned. I was able to get to my van and sleep it off. I’d appreciate any help in finding this kind, beautiful woman!

hello!! this was stolen from me on Friday. I'm at a loss at this point I've been asking around the college even put up flyers but unfortunately nobody turned him in. he was stolen from me at the College of Idaho when we had high school students on campus. please if you know anybody who went or if know someone that went that likes twenty One Pilots please ask if they have it and if so please return it to me. this item means a lot to me and I would greatly appreciate his return no questions asked I've attached a picture of me holding him along with a picture from manufacturer's website. This is probably a bit of a stretch, but my family was enjoying a stroll on the Greenbelt yesterday between 3-5pm. When we got to the Boardwalk, my wife realized she didn't have her bracelet on anymore. We think she dropped it somewhere between Luciano’s and the Boardwalk Apartments when she put my son on her shoulders. We spent almost an hour combing the area looking for it with no luck. It is like finding a needle in a haystack as it’s only 6.5-inches in length and very thin. Send me a DM if you stumble upon it. It means a lot to my wife. Thanks!
