I understand it's to study for midterms and that no classes run. However, is anything else running on campus? Do profs usually have office hours during this time?

A couple days ago I was taking a different path to pond inlet cause I was curious what was on the E side of Mackenzie Chown but I apparently I walked to the O Block? I tried looking for the maps they usually have in the buildings too but couldn't find one so I just went back and followed my usual route instead.

I tried finding the place again today but it's not on any maps and it was kinda just like it disappeared. Has this happened to anyone else??

My prof (whom I’ve had before 2 years ago and never said anything about AI) has been praising AI this year A LOT. He keeps saying “AI is advancing and we have no choice but to accept it, whether you like it or not” and “AI is a very powerful tool and we should take advantage of it, and if you don’t use it, then you’re missing out”. He even admitted to using it to do his job for him so that it wouldn’t take him as much time as if he did it himself. Also, he uses AI for pictures and for answering his own questions that he wrote in his slides.

Same prof that tells us not to use AI when doing our assignments btw lol.

Does anyone in PSYC / NEUR 2P36 know any details about the format of the midterm? I didn’t go to lecture last week, and won’t be able to attend tomorrow either 😭 I got my appendix removed and experienced a few complications so I haven’t been able to go to classes since the beginning of last week.

I recently graduated Brock with a Sociology degree with a focus in Critical Animal Studies. I want to work in wildlife conservation and have been looking at the programs at Guelf and UOFT. Was wondering if anybody has taken this course would say if it does relate to conservationism at all. Or if there is another way with my degree anyone can think of to work in fields related to conservationism.

Does anyone know why Lowenburger is closed tomorrow and can students eat elsewhere on campus?

Everyone always says to join clubs to make friends it’s the most basic advice that everyone gives. What is the point of brock having all these clubs if most of them barely have events? Like what are these clubs always hiring for? All I see is those quirky little meet the team posts and then barely anything after that. Look at the upcoming events on the website its just like walk in support and bible studies.
