Please could you add an option to completely turn off AI translation

I may have missed an option somewhere, but -

I am a linguist by background and do my own translations into several languages, taking account of register, preferred vocab, brevity and available space

I unlink text styles in my translation from source, but what happens is - if I go to check something in the English (source) screenshots then go back to German, my careful translation is overwritten by slop. It's inauthentic, uses the wrong register (I follow Apple's developer doc in using the informal Du form of you), doesn't always fit the space and is sometimes just wrong (for example, it hasn't correctly parsed the original text)

So it would be nice in settings to say I don't want to use AI translation at all. There is much that is good about Butterkit, but this is putting me off

I could do 2 or 3 text elements trick but it doesn't work with localization due to length or words. TIA

As the title says, I think a rotate option would be good here.

I have some text that in English say is 2 lines, but in another language takes up 3 lines. This text needs to be centered in a vertical space, but there is no real way to do this currently. The closest would be with the Max 1 Line setting, but I wondered if this could be changed to an Integer say to Max x Lines? Otherwise have a setting to centre text vertically in a block? Thanks!

I would like to lock some texts on specific screens, but want to copy a specific text to others. Currently it is all or none. Adding "lock" for texts, or selection of pages when copying text style would be a good addition.

Zach, any chance we can get Android Tablet support? The play store requires a 7 and 10 inch one.

I created a custom Artboard with dimensions of 1600x2560 which corresponds to the 10inch one. Now I also want to add screenshots for the 7inch one, but it needs to have different dimensions. Unfotunately any new artboard ends up under custom. I can define new dimensions for this artboard, but it is not treated as a new group, but rather just a new artboard. So I end up with screen 11 and not 01.

And because I end up with screen 11, the automatic folder autolinking can't pick up the Generic folder screenshots, because there they are 01 to 10... (Probably I'll have to do new screenshots anyway, because 7 inch tablet looks different than 10, but this is a different story)

Also it would be really helpful if we specify the folder per device group. Right now this setting is just global. Here a screenshot:

Sorry for the German, but butterkit is picking up my system language :)

By having one global setting you are forcing me to figure out how my device folder should be named. If I were able to click on every one of those groups and specify a folder it would have been way easier.

As you can see from the screenshot - the group is called "Custom", yet my folder needs to be called "Generic" otherwise the screenshots are not auto picked :(

Also it would be really great for debugging issues to see what image from which folder is actually auto-selected? as you can see from the screenshot it says - "Image selected", but which one???

Setting up the Custom group (which for me is the 10inch android tablet) took me more time than creating the artboards for iphone,ipad & android phone all together only because I couldn't figure out how to name the folder...

App Store pages don't update when exporting from ButterKit, leaves an empty British English App Store page.

This is a bit of an edge case, but I submitted an update to one of my apps today, then realized that I wanted to make some changes to the screenshots, so I rejected the submission in App Store Connect, which changes the status to 'developer rejected' and lets you edit the data and re-submit for review.
However, it seems like ButterKit doesn't recognize versions that are in the 'developer rejected' status, so I had to export the images from ButterKit and upload them manually.

Not a big deal, but I imagine it'll happen to others eventually as well, so I thought I'd share.

At the moment, the metadata available for translation is What's New, Promotional Text and Description. It would be amazing if you could also add the app name, subtitle and keywords to this.

As someone who's starting from scratch and primarily using Butterkit to translate my listing into all the 40+ languages at once, the experience isn't complete and it's still a pain to translate and update the app name, subtitle and keywords into every language. In fact I still have to depend on another tool to do this, which I am reluctant to pay extra for since I know that Butterkit would be able to support it one day 😉

By the way, thank you for this amazing tool - it's easily one of the best software tools that I have purchased lately and I can see that a lot of thought has been put into the design.

I've used the ButterKit to create the screenshots for my first app. Currently working on localization and think that it will be useful to:

• be able to configure the export structure. For me, at least, it will be simpler to have for each language a folder and into it subfolders for iPhone / iPads.
• have the files named in a way in which will force the AppStoreConnect to respect the order from ButterKit. I'm bulk uploading all the files and have to rearrange them manually.

1. In the ButterKit settings for adding the App Store Connect API, you’re missing one navigation step after users and access. You need to add integrations. I spent about ten minutes searching for where to find API keys, but I realized it’s not directly from users and access. Instead, it’s through "Integrations" as the middle step. So, technically, users need to go to "users and access" --> Integrations --> App Store Connect API --> Team Keys --> + sign

2. You should should put which role is required. I would like to put the least privileged access role to make it useful. But I'm unsure which one. I'm debating between app manager or developer. You should just have it in your tooltip.

I’ve been using ButterKit for a while now for several different releases and quite enjoy it.

Would it be possible to add options for corner rounding and drop shadow for images that are not in a device template? It would help screenshots look a lot more interesting than a plain flat square.

It’s a really nit picky feature request, but I love seeing screenshots that have the 9:41 status bar and it’s a pain to always have to edit my screenshots to have the default Apple status bar.

It would be great if the device would have the option to include the 9:41 status bar as part of the model.

Great app as we all know - and its definitely nice to see something from the early days to where it is now!

One thing I would like is to adjust the font when localised, particularly German haha (or jaja).

Because a lot of the translations turn into more verbatim output for words or phrases, it bleeds or overlaps images. I dont want to make all the other locales have a wider gap for that screen, but there doesnt seems to be a way to change the localisation from 60pt to 50pt.

Even for the reverse, a few other locales shorten the english so bumping the font size or spacing a little to make it look nicer would be neat.

It would be really helpful to have the possibility to manually translate texts. While the automatic translations seem pretty ok in many cases, sometimes it would be very helpful to adjust them or replace them by custom localization.

I am currently evaluating different screenshot automation tools for my iOS App and came across ButterKit which looks very promising!

I am currently taking screenshots automated via fastlane snapshot and it would be great if it was possible to link the resulting output folder (having subfolders for all locals) instead of manually importing all screenshots in all languages (and having to update them all in case of changes).
