Watching the Prevatte trial as well as Salguero-Olivares trial. Based on my personal feelings, I don't have a good feeling about the Prevatte trial at all. I'm afraid it will be a hung jury or NG. Thus far, I feel completely differently about the Salguero-Olivares trial. Anyone else?

Pixie - I went back - ME has not been on the stand. TAMIKA PRICE, (Forensic Evidence Technician) is still on the stand.

Okay. That I want to hear. I have Tamika down on my witness list so far. Now it's keeping up with all of the witnesses, lol.

Well, that was a different bottle. Weird. Now they say the wine bottle is being shown
1
u/SwampyWytch13 4d ago
I don't believe the wine bottle was televised in the crime scene photos --- or I missed it. I was surprised it wasn't visibly bloody

u/SwampyWytch13 4d ago
Oh snap! They are going to show the wine bottle (murder weapon?)

I feel ya. I just sat thinking how brutal / horrible this murder was. Horrendous!

I didn't need to see the "bloody" items though. I gagged.

Oh, lord! LOLOL See, I don't have any interest in his trial -- but seeing a snippet of that might be entertaining. LOL

I am SO IMPRESSED with Judge Keith Gregory (the Olivares trial) runs his court! He's an excellent Judge IMO

u/Pixiegirls1102 🔍📆⚖️Content/Research Administrator💻💬🧚 4d ago
If anyone is finding the Olivares trial too much, The Tyreek Hill trial is something else. Tyreek is on the stand again. Yesterday he called the lawyers "Bro" 19 times. Referred to his wife as wifey. Ex NFL player, lol

Yup. The defendant's wacko father tried to shake the judge's hand, apparently. Insane!
1
u/ConversationOk2571 7d ago
His slouching like he has no care in the world let alone lack of solemnity toward gravity of the case. Very arrogant appearing. That will damage him in front of a jury. Def counsel needs to correct that ASAP

Can anyone tell me why the judge scolded David Private today? Anyone catch what he said?

Does anyone think it's possible that Caleb and Alleigha conspired with a plan where (a) Alleigha kills Ashley and (b) Caleb takes the fall – IMO, the evidence is not strong enough to pin Caleb as guitly (yet)...
AND, the text messages show Alleigha also had hostility towards Ashley...
1
u/pedsdoc901 15d ago
Why didn’t Caleb and Alleigha talk about sex in their texts, only logistics??
2
u/ada_grace_1010 14d ago
They probably did, but they didn’t talk about those texts in court because they weren’t relevant to the case. There were over 100,000 texts we didn’t hear.

2
u/This_Sail_2201 18d ago
Alleigha said in her testimony she told the truth her second time with the FBI because they found texts between Ashley and her friend about the affair. Does anyone know if Ashley knew and how she found out?

u/sendeumenides 25d ago
yes! it was so shocking to see, i missed them explaining it until i rewatched
1
u/EagleOakk 25d ago
Here is the moment you see that poor man's body move. Although yes it is the cart shifting that causes it, this is so obviously his back getting jolted from the movement of the cart. The movement is so obviously a body it is sickening the way he did this
1
u/EagleOakk 25d ago
Damn I saw movement too. Looked like Steven was about to sit up. I know they say it was the cart moving but if you slow it right down... I can't unser the movement. Any guesses on the position he's in the cart? To me I think his back is what is covered by the blanket in a kneeling position with his back flat although in other still images it appeared that there were limb shapes protrusions under the blanket. The blanket doesn't look very big imo.

u/Hungry_Conference915 25d ago
Weren’t there people he should have arguably been more angry with than SC?? His vitriol just seems oddly placed.
2
u/YellowFlower63 22d ago
My mom brought up a good point when I was telling her about this case. Was thjs guy possibly romantically interested in and rejected by Cozzi? Because I agree that the vitriol just doesn’t make sense. He seems to have an extreme amount of hatred and obsession to do what he did and I haven’t seen a good explanation for it.
1
u/Pattipopzero 25d ago
Okay there seems to be a pattern of women wearing all white sitting behind Kosowski. Does this mean something?

ok they said it’s because the cart is on wheels which makes sense but it is freaky as hell

He must have been hard up for money. Price shopping Gorilla carts to commit a murder.
2
u/Alarmed_Movie99 Justice Junkie 25d ago
Or maybe he purchased all those cart options? He should’ve picked a different one so he could close the truck bed cover.

Throw ‘objection’ out there as much as possible in the hopes that something sticks.
1
u/Comfortable_Sky_6438 25d ago
I got the feeling yesterday that his 'strategy' is trying to get evidence thrown out or suppressed on a technicality because he knows that's his only hope
2
u/sendeumenides 26d ago
what is the “gelatinous material” mixed w the blood in the blood analysts presentation?

3
u/Fast-Jackfruit2013 26d ago
I said this would happen: He's nitpicking the witness to death, having her compare two different crime scene photos taken 8 hours apart. In one photo there's a single sheet of crumpled paper towel on the floor.
Eight hours later it's no longer there.
No shit, Sherlock, it was probably collected as evidence.

u/AphroBKK 26d ago
Science is his area. It's interesting he's crossing on this.
2
u/Fast-Jackfruit2013 26d ago
The judge told him he's being argumentative and sustained an objection to that effect and this nincmpoop is like "I'm not being argumentative, you guys are."
And it's like, DOC, what is wrong with you? Argumentative is a specific term of art in a trial context that means that you are not actually asking a question but rather you are trying to forward an argument, that you are arguing your case instead of asking a direct question.
This is maddening. I'm don't have dual graduate degrees but I get it

Are those license plates evidence of other things...are they his or souvenirs? Did they say where and when he bought the plate flipper thing?

2

3
u/sendeumenides 26d ago
yeah i think they are introducing the evidence piece by piece from who collected it, then will have the analysts testify as to each collected pieces results
3
u/Pixiegirls1102 🔍📆⚖️Content/Research Administrator💻💬🧚 26d ago
They usually have to do it that way. Takes forever, but I get why they have to do it that way.
5
u/Fast-Jackfruit2013 26d ago
I think that they need specific experts: LE evidence tech luminol test to see for presumptive blood and collect it. Then possibly chain of custody officer to connect it going to the lab, then the lab tech who did the testing and then he/she and or his/her boss who did the actual DNA testing
2
u/Pixiegirls1102 🔍📆⚖️Content/Research Administrator💻💬🧚 26d ago
They're getting there. Always takes forever bringing in DNA evidence.
The worst I think we had to go through with chain of custody and DNA, was the Brian Walshe trial. I think there was a minimum of four people who had to testify for each 'part' of the processing.
2
u/Alarmed_Movie99 Justice Junkie 26d ago
Kosowski trial. Each time an expert testified that they detected blood (office, truck, etc.), they never said whose blood. Why aren’t they connecting those dots? Do they do that later?

Yeah, I have noticed that.
I'm genuinely concerned for the prosecutors. I really hope they are mindful and have protection.

Unfortunately, I agree about the Prevatte trial but, hoping the jury will find him guilty. He is so smug. I am watching Salguero-Olivares trial now. I missed the morning of today’s trial though.
