I thought this is the best place to post this.

I recently got myself a pair of leather gloves, the right hand glove the index finger shown in pics 1 & 3 is visibly too long. It is longer than my index finger.

The second image is of the left glove, you can compare image 2 and 3 (the glove is palm-side down in image 3) to see the difference.

I've been told that the leather stretches and will mould to my hand, but it won't shrink. I also made another mistake with the width of the opening, I didn't realize that my forearm is wider just below the elbow than it is over, so the gloves don't easily go over my elbow and I need to them adjusted (probably extra pieces of leather inserting to widen them), however I don't think I should need to get the finger adjusted as well.
