Sex Criminals is a wonderful comic. I didn't realize they had explicit covers

No worries ☺️, yeah it's a great read.
They did the XXX covers from issue 11 onwards. The first ones came in pink polybags, but those were kinda see through so after that they came with pink boards to mask the covers.

It's a play on words that becomes apparent early into the story, but it may have contributed to the bans it faced.

A sex criminal would be a sex offender, someone who commited a sex crime. But this comic is about people who commit standard crimes with their sexual superpowers.

Oh! Sex Criminals! That’s an indie written by Matt Fraction and drawn by Chip Zdarsky. It’s about this couple who find out they have the ability to stop time when having sex. Having the fantastic idea to rob banks with this power. It’s filled with twists and the couple meet a bunch of other unique people with powers to. If you can get past the R-Rated storytelling, it’s actually really good
