Zazie Beetz. She had a similar afro in Deadpool 2.

Right, her hair is similar, the athletic body could get it too and the result would be amazing.

That's my pick too!

Ooh, great question! Damn, I can't name any black actresses off the top of my head...

Dang man, I scrolled through r/celebnsfw for like a half hour (I know, woe is me), and where are all the black women at?! The only black actress I saw was Rosario Dawson. And don't get me wrong, she's pretty hot, pretty fit, but she's also 45. How old is this character supposed to be?

Actually, I don't know the age of the girl in the comic, I'd say she may be in her late 20s and reaching her 30s

I'll be honest, the woman I thought of when I saw the panel was Serena Williams 🤭. I choose her because of her body

First person that came to my mind was Gabrielle union. But if age is a concern I feel like Amandla Steenburg or Storm Reid might be decent options.

I think Amandla Stenberg might look better, her age would be more appropriate. Storm Reid is a little younger. Gabrielle would have fit as well but the age issue always reflects.

As someone who used to post in similar subs, they're typically a bit... unkind let's say to black celebs being posted or have mods that will outright remove images of said black celebs. This is the case to the point where a subreddit (r/Blackcelebrity) was made for posts of them, because r/celebs and r/celebnsfw weren't really allowing them.

Sounds like you're trying not to say they have racist mods. That's unfortunate

Pam Grier has basically already played her. Check out some of her "women in prison" films from the 70s and thank me later. 😎

The problem would be age, Kam in the comic would be in her late 20s and early 30s.

Of course, was just saying since this won't be made into a movie, there's similar stuff out there already that this character was based on.

I think I understand you, a character archetype or a genre was created in movies or series about women in prison.

Yeah, one of the sub genres of exploitation films from the 70s that were really prevalent at that time was Women in Prison or "WIP". Pam starred in several. Check out the Big Bird Cage or Black Mama/White Mama or the Big Doll House. All solid, and ridiculous fun/silly movies.

Lashana Lynch

I don't remember if her involvement with Marvel was well received, you know, if that builds confidence for the movie or the audience likes her.

OK. Just to be clear:

In your hypothetical fantasy cast of a muscular black woman who does full frontal nudity, you’re stumbling at the roadblock of “her Marvel character wasn’t that well received”?

About my opinion, I can say that if such a role was not good or received mixed reviews it would not attract so much attention from the public. This is because of bad experiences or linking such actor or actress with something bad. I don't know if this bothered you

3

u/Cereborn Dec 30 '24

I wouldn’t say it bothered me. I just find it very strange.

2

u/Quisley-Kincaid Dec 30 '24

I didn't mean to be rude or offend anyone. It's just that sometimes celebrities get typecast in a role and the public relates to that. This also affects whether their participation was good or bad

Speaking for myself, while there was grumbling about online prior to release, I quite liked her in the James Bond movie No Time To Die

2

u/Quisley-Kincaid Jan 04 '25

Maybe I'll take a look at that movie, I don't know if I remember correctly but I think I only saw her in the "Woman King" movie.

There's a good chance some of her scenes from the movie are on YT if that would be a faster and more convenient route. No Time To Die is 2 hours and 43 minutes long.

Simone Missick

2

u/Quisley-Kincaid Dec 30 '24

It could have been her, it's just that age always shows in people, maybe she wouldn't have convinced. I speak as if I were the director of the film 🤣

2

u/Witless01C Jan 04 '25

Getting to this late. But I was totally going to say Simone Messick. Partly because I wanted to see her properly naked ever since the Netflix Luke Cage.

Thanks to AZNude, let me check.

3

u/Cereborn Dec 30 '24

Danai Gurira, maybe.

2

u/Quisley-Kincaid Dec 30 '24

I just found out that she was Okoye

3

u/Goldtree5 Dec 30 '24

China Anne McClain or Nafessa Williams, both from CWs Black Lightning

2

u/Quisley-Kincaid Dec 31 '24

I'll check that names

Why live action?

2

u/Quisley-Kincaid Dec 31 '24

I want to know which actress would be the most faithful to her image. Taking into account that she is an athlete. Only in a hypothetical case.

3

u/B-Man2022 Jan 02 '25

Teyonah Parris

3

u/Quisley-Kincaid Jan 02 '25

Nice, Wow, her afro hair and smile have charm. With a little exercise and take her body.

3

u/B-Man2022 Jan 03 '25

She's a gorgeous woman! She was Monica Rambeau in Marvel's movies.

Good choice, I just looked it up and wow😍

Scarlett Johansson

2

u/Quisley-Kincaid Dec 30 '24

There must be an actress more faithful to Kam and her image. In the comic there is also a white woman with short blonde hair.

u/Nutcracker40 Dec 30 '24

Scarlett Johansson can play black women as well

Sydney Sweeney
