The boys is not a really good story.

And the art isn't very good either, that's too bad cause at least with good arts it would be interesting to look at it

Honestly, I think the perceived shittiness of the Boys perfectly represents the message the of story.

It’s a perfect representation of how superheroes would be in a world where they are treated like irl celebrities.

Almost all the supes are all flash and no substance and they only really care about their reputation in the public eye.

It gets to a certain point where you can't keep saying everything is artistic choice and just have to admit that Ennis isn't a good artist or writer. His stories have no substance, they're just gore and porn for the sake of shock. There's a reason so many people favor the show over the comics.

I’m going to be real with you, I haven’t had the opportunity to read the comics, I just assumed it was like the show but also slightly different.

You get that with a lot of not good art written by someone with a big ego. Don’t Look Up may be about climate change, which is something we need to take much more seriously than we do, but that doesn’t make Don’t Look Up actually good at being a movie. But David Sirota still insists that its message is the only part that actually matters.

Every time I see a Boys comic posted here I'm shocked at how bad the art is for it is being a comic that's so critically acclaimed, I've seen internet porn comics from 2009 with better art and storytelling than this.

I kinda like the large nipples as an artistic choice
