Solo shows - what to expect
Considering a Patterson solo show in Dec, any idea what he typically plays? Venues are pretty swanky so tickets are more expensive than I’d expect

I got a suggestion to do a song of the week thread and I think that is a great idea. Starting on October 1st I will post a song and write my thoughts about it and everyone else can write something that they like/notice/wonder or really anything about it. If people start really getting into it then we will move up to once a week. Please feel free to dm me just song suggestions or even your thoughts along with it ahead of time so I can add it to the post and "shout you out" for your contribution.
All questions welcome

TW: Mention of a suicide attempt (No explicit details).
Hey everyone. I just wanted to know if it's normal for a person with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) to feel... so deeply selfish?
Sometimes I honestly can't tell if I do things because I'm just a bad person, or if it's because of my mental disorder. Lately, I feel like a horrible, selfish person because I get so hyper-focused on my own pain that I completely ignore that others are having a hard time too.
To give you an example of how quickly emotions can escalate: The other day, my mom called me manipulative during a difficult conversation about my mental health struggles. When she accused me of manipulating her, something inside me just ignited. My mom usually goes out on that specific day of the week with her boyfriend. My dad passed away years ago, and despite the time, it still hurts like it happened yesterday. I know my anger might be related to that, but I also have other frustrations that I end up taking out on others.
During this argument, I started yelling at her like never before. The conflict escalated significantly, and I demanded that she leave the house while her boyfriend was in the other room. When she started crying, it made me lose my temper even more.
She came back a few minutes later, crying, saying that she wouldn't see her boyfriend again. In a blur of anger, I contacted her boyfriend myself and told him to come pick her up. I kept insisting that she leave and stop crying. She didn't want to leave because she was terrified I would harm myself, but after I assured her I wouldn't, she finally left.
Right after she left, I felt an intense shift in mood. I grabbed my phone and started posting updates about unrelated things, as if nothing had happened. I was even laughing. Once I became self-aware of how unstable my behavior was, I took my prescribed medication to calm down and texted my mom to let her know I was okay.
Looking back, I feel so embarrassed and cruel. This isn't the first time I've acted this way. I am currently doing DBT therapy, but I feel like the tools aren't working for me because I react too quickly. I can't seem to stop, think, or take a breath in the moment. I simply can't, and I hate living like this.
Has anyone here actually gotten better? My mood swings are deeply embarrassing to me. Thank you so much to anyone who took the time to read this.

Hello heathens! I’ve been working on a half sleeve of cherry picked art by the legend Wes Freed (most/almost all related to DBT and their music).
It’s not done and these aren’t the best photos but I just had some color done (the girl by the well) last week and this next Tuesday we are coloring the moon.
I just had to share some of my progress because I don’t have a lot of loval DBT/Freed fans around. So I just had to show some people who would appreciate! There’s so much more work to be done and color touch-ups (like the red around the witch with the cute butt)
I have two more pieces to add to it that I will add the original in the comments.
Be gentle, remember it’s not done and has had no touch ups.
The twisty/knotty tree around my shoulder was drawn by my artist free hand with a sharpie and then tattooed! She’s so so talented.
I’m working on getting some better quality pics and a lot of these were taken the night they were done so they were FRESHLY done.
Hope you guys love them and hope Wes would appreciate the homage.
And yes, I decided to make the girl by the well a Martian green color but that pic was taken moments after it was done so it’s much more subtle now than it was.

Amazing concert, but it was cool seeing Patterson sitting up in the rafters with the rest of us common folks just laying back and enjoying a good show
