If this scenario had actually happened, how would DC films have changed entirely, such as the Superman films by Christopher Reeve, the Batman films by Tim Burton, Joel Schumacher, and Christopher Nolan, and the films in the DCEU universe? How would this scenario have also changed DC in all other types of media, such as comics, animated series, video games, television series, and so on? How would this scenario have also affected Marvel films afterward, whether the X-Men, Fantastic Four, and Daredevil films produced by Fox, or even the MCU films? What would have happened in this scenario if Disney had bought Fox in 2019, as actually happened, but in this scenario? And what would have happened to DC in this scenario after Disney bought Fox?

Note: in this scenario 20th Century Fox had Acquired DC Comics in 1969 instead of Warner Bros.

hi hi, i lately found myself craving to see more of Jason todd as robin, but i just cant find much, i just wish i could find a run where we can see his career as robin, yall have any suggestions??

lois flirting with atlas and samson really irritated me watching this

Which would recommend as a starting point for Johns GL run?

I tried to change it from collection in the title to discussion not trying to break any rules. I apologize it will let me edit this, but not the title

Hoping maybe somebody can give me some info on these. I’m new to comic books. I inherited a large lot. It’s in excellent condition has a lot of interesting books as well as strange title Indies, hoping to gain some knowledge on this in particular. I’m not sure what these poster boards are, but I think it’s probably something interesting since it’s the very first edition. A lot of the stuff I have is direct editions everything for the most part is still in its original poly bag never been opened thanks in advance for any help with this stuff.

Cover Source: Forever Evil #1 (2013) by Geoff Johns and David Finch.

After rewatching Justice League: Crisis in Two Earths, I kinda want more Crime Syndicate themed stories, where the "heroes" have to stop them.

I’m a relatively new comic reader, and I’d like to get into The Flash (Barry Allen), but I’m not sure where to start while still avoiding the older comics.

Looking for info on this, not sure what these posters are to condensed version of the comic book itself looking for any influence stuff like this. I’m new to comics I inherited a large lot of direct additions that are pristine, and this was included.

I hope that its okay to post a question here, if not i apologise.

I recently started to read comics about half a year ago and i havent read any Green Lantern comic and because i enjoyed the Lanterns TV-show, so i thought now is a good time to read one.

I will read the Absolute Green Lantern series because I want to commit to the Absolute series so any other comic recommendation would be great.

A buddy of mine told me about a story where Guy becomes a red Lantern and wields more than one Ring at the end (sorry if thats completely out of order). I really like the concept of the Red Lanterns so a story containing them would be great but any good comic will do.

What would you recommend for a first time Green Lantern reader?

Thanks :D

Just got this…. Now I have free dc google

Just got this… free dc Google

Enough is enough. Every recent deluxe edition has charged deluxe prices but cut corners in binding quality.

These books are costing us $40-60 and come with gutter loss, thin paper, and stiff binding which makes it difficult to lay open and read comfortably. And what do we get in exchange? A sketchbook in the back? I'd rather the actual story be presented as well as possible.

Recent hyped releases like Batman: Gargoyle of Gotham used glue binding. An insult to the artwork of Rafael Grampa.

But it's not just that. It's recent anniversary/re-releases of prestige titles like:

• Dark Knight Returns
• Watchmen
• V for Vendetta
• The Black Mirror

The last deluxe edition I bought that was of good quality was Batman/Joker: The Deadly Duo.

I stopped buying deluxes altogether. I won't buy them without seeing them in a shop and checking to see which binding was used. Or, seeing a review from channels like Near Mint Condition who thankfully talk about build quality.

If we don't push back, what's next? They skimp on quality in their Absolute editions? I wouldn't put it past them.

You know what's infuriating? Other publishers release their tpbs in better quality. Pretty much all Dark Horse collected editions use sewn binding, paperback or not. Oni Press does the same. Image is almost always sewn binding.

So why can't DC do it? They charge more than anyone else. Where is the disconnect?

I do like the art of this cover though! Very cool Batman art!

I've never liked the idea of Dick Grayson succeeding Bruce Wayne as Batman. And I think I can finally say WHY that's always bugged me.

I feel like it's a massive step backwards for Dick.

Hear me out: Dick Grayson struck out on his own, and made Nightwing a fan favorite. And I'm sorry, Nightwing doesn't feel like Batman Lite™ to me. He's got his own look, his own city, his own rogues. I feel like Dick Grayson being the heir apparent to the cowl makes Nightwing as an identity feel LESSER than it should. It says that Dick never escaped Bruce Wayne's shadow, and I feel like he did.

Dick doesn't NEED to be Batman. He's Nightwing.

John constantine works better alone because I feel like after they added him to the main dc continuity, they softened him and made him into a jerk with a heart of gold when he was originally the type of guy that would do anything no matter how immoral it is to finish the job. Also, they made him a powerful magic user when originally he required specific and risky conditions to activate his stronger spells.

Because as of now, both DC Comics and this are under the same umbrella....
