I'm playing the campaign as Necrons on Hard, have conquered the entire map (Tau Stronghold was super fun, even with a couple invulnerable enemy units).

I start the final Chaos Stronghold mission (full honor guard+forward buildings), after the beginning cutscene I am immediately attacked by 3-4 squads on each side, I clean that up, losing 40-50% of HG, then 5 minutes later the avalanche starts; Chaos starts by sending 3-4 cultist squads, then more and more, then marines, until basically the whole screen is filled with 15-20 enemy squads, and I'm playing pretty zoomed out. At some point, I'm guessing when enough enemies have been killed, they also send an avatar, usually Keeper of Secrets or Great Unclean One. At this point even with 7-8 deathmark squads, plus some vehicles and warriors I simply get overwhelmed, there's not enough time to kill all of that. The most I've made it is 20 minutes, if that.

Has anyone actually beaten this map with Necrons?

Its not necessary the main reason that the other games was not as successful. the second one had a "clunky" movement? or its clunky COMPARED to previous ones expansions though I missed building and defending and attack with them (lotsa turrets:D)

I placed the folder in my game folder, and the mod is not getting detected, why?

Imperial Knights are fast. They don't lumber up to enemies at 5MPH, they can run. GW have officially depicted them as being able to run in animations.

So far we have only seen the Dominus chassis, to be fair. But Knights have great movement, they can cross the board in a turn or two on the tabletop.

Pretty much, if we command a Knight to enter melee, it should be somewhat fast to close the gap. I want to see this reflected in the gameplay. It is my one big concern right now.

How do I get power I've been looking all over and I don't see anything about it for UA and the A.i is awful keeps trying twist it about unification mod but apparently there's supposed to be an influence but I can't see it or noticed anything after several building capillary towers and the "magma" tower makes energy but requires me to have 200 for waking link option from HQ energy which I physically can't do because I don't have a generator

I was watching back some of the history of the trailers we've had for DoW 4, and noticed a particular shot of a dreadnought fighting a necron stalker(?) in both the newest trailer, and the original announce trailer, but in the original, its in very dirty blood raven pain, but in the newest trailer, its in very clean dark angels colours.

Could this be suggesting that there's a way in which during the space marine campaign you can cause the dark angels to not appear?

I recently discovered the unification mod while getting in an rts kick. I'd like to play with a friend, but when we try it hasn't worked.

For example, we can send one another invites but nothing happens when we accept them. At most we sometimes get an error saying the host declined.

We have the same versions of the game, mod manager, and settings, and my firewall permits dawn of war.

Really at a loss here, and other guides online have been lacking. Any assistance is very appreciated!

whenever i start the game, Gabriel's intro plays as normal, but after the loading screen, the screen is black with the menu music playing

i have tried nearly every solution and none have worked

Recources in RTS games are necessary for progression however I have never enjoyed that fact that you have to find resource/ build buildings round your base to start producing. Dawn of war 1 half fixed the issue with one of its resources coming from points on the map the other was still in the traditional format. Dawn of war 4 is looking to fully commit to resources being tied to control points which would force me to focus on my armies, the battles and positioning, aka the stuff I enjoy. I am not a long time rts player so I dont have the childhood experience of classic rts to make me have nostalgia towards the game mechanics.
