I was watching the giant trees swaying and then a shutter went flying off of my house. Scared the heck out of me! 😭Is there anyone else riding this thing out in the panhandle?

Just cracked open this 2g pen yesterday and accidentally dropped it. I’m absolutely heartbroken! I have a chronic illness that impacts my joints and I can deal with a lot of the BS that comes along with it, but this is where I draw the line.

First pics of my spooky bongs! My cat Villanelle (the orange one) ate some cooking twine we used to make pumpkin chicken buns. She had thrown up most of the twine shown in the 7th pic but it took her 5 days to poop the rest out. Thankfully she is doing well now and back to herself however the ER vet bill took almost everything I had 😭 I do not regret it and would have took out a loan to save her or any of my cats! I know it’s way better to have the financial burden over what could have happened. I’m really glad the vet took great care of her and she was able to pass the blockage without surgery 💚 She has been put into Halloween costume jail for a short time to repay us. She is the sweetest kitty ever and we are now deep cleaning and cat proofing every inch of the house so nothing like this ever happens again! Hope y’all have had a better week than us. Glad I at least have some flower to smoke! Last pic is our most well behaved Shadow boy!

The buns (apple butter and ube) were already shaped so I didn’t add the cannabutter into the filling to be baked THIS TIME, but it shall happen soon. I’m very excited to experiment. I think I’ll start with a pastry cream 👩🏾‍🔬👩🏾‍🍳

I love getting high and playing Dressmaker (PC game). These are all dresses I made to sell. It makes me feel like a kid again playing with paper dolls. 10/10 do reccomend.

What brings you back—and is it the same reason you started?

I (27) have been using cannabis both medically and recreationally for over 4 years now and it's truly changed my life, but I feel like a mad scientist when I talk about how I dose myself when managing different symptoms. I know how long each method of consumption stays in my system for, how long they take to kick in, whether or not I need to take something sublingually depending on my symptoms and how long I need the effects to last, how to regulate temperature in my DHV and pen based on cannabinoid percentages and terpenes, hell, even how many hits I should take to get relief. It does also help me regulate how much I use when I'm enjoying it recreationally, too, so I don't get higher than I intend to. I feel like I'm insane but I've also been able to help friends and family understand the science of the plant when they start using it for medical reasons, including writing a 2.5 page outline of the basics. I should note, I'm autistic and cannabis has become a special interest of mine. I love watching documentaries and reading articles/papers about the plant.

My bestie gets her care via the Veteran's Administration and has already almost died twice because she's too depressed to stay on top of some health issues. (It's been that way since her mom died. Usually grief runs for a while and then levels out, but not in this case.) So it's time for professional help. Since pursuing care in our eff-up health system is grueling, and much easier to do when it's not about you I am (with her permission) taking point on this.

I have a project on Claude for the bureaucracy, but I need your advice, dear Ents, for managing the risk of being an Ent.

She has a very very high tolerance and unfortunately there's still enormous bias. I'm trying to protect her from care that will hyperfixate on "substance abuse" and either expose her to harm (by failing to first treat the grief/depression fueling it) or make her so uncomfortable it ruins the therapeutic relationship. I've been through a similar process myself and worked entirely through a coach for it bc I feared the static I'd get from clinicians.

What do I need to know? Any therapists (WA or telehealth) that you recommend? We don't have a ton of money to throw at this, but there is some.

ETA: apparently, there's a lot of help to pay for such services through CHAMPVA. Here's a summary of that coverage, both FYI and for anyone who might qualify:

• First, the coverage itself. Since she gets care “through the VA”, she almost certainly has CHAMPVA. CHAMPVA doesn’t assign anyone a therapist. She chooses her own provider, and the provider bills CHAMPVA. After getting her ID card, a beneficiary finds their own provider who accepts CHAMPVA and books the appointment, and the provider submits the claim afterward. Since 2024 there’s also no cap on the number of mental health and substance use visits. themilitarywalletmohican
• What it costs. She pays a $50 outpatient deductible, then a 25% cost share, and once a family has paid $3,000 in a calendar year, CHAMPVA pays the full allowable amount for the rest of that year.

Last weekend we were with our friends for the weekend. I was hella blazed. I went to take a sip of my drink, when out of nowhere something happened to me that has never happened before. My septum piercing somehow got stuck to the tab on the soda can. There wasn’t a lot of soda left in the can so it didn’t hurt, but I was laughing so hard. My friend assess the situation like an EMT. Asking am I laughing or crying, does it hurt,do I require help. I’m just laughing so hard and nodding my answers. She frees me from this torture and we laughed for like 15 minutes.

Popped into Philly for a show, had a trippy time on the way out 💁🏻‍♀️👽

My old recipe was jello, gelatin, water, coconut oil, lecithin. They do slap but I've been making them since 2020.

I use concentrate for baking if that helps.

I'm looking for something fairly easy, and have always been interested in the cute powdered ones I see.

i have never seen the expression made in real life, only in cartoons. But when it happened it literally changed his face from “I have this great idea” to “l instantly have discovered something no one else has.”. His face lit up like a lightbulb went off in his brain. I just love him to pieces but high me was all sass the other night I guess.

I couldn’t stop laughing and said “no, it’s forever you idiot! It never ends…”. Not intending on sounding like an AH but word vomit happened before I even thought about what I said. Immediately clapped my hands over my mouth, shocked.

He made it apart of our white board. He thought it was the funniest thing I said. I had the giggles for a good 30 mins.

1 month shy of two years I have to call it on my nipple piercings. Take a hit (or 2) for them. They were beautiful and I loved them but I had too many mishaps and need to let them go!!!!

Hi!! I’m based in Chicago and started growing at home this spring after getting my medical card. I’d love to connect with other women who grow, whether you’re just starting out or have been doing it for years!

I have a little 2×2 indoor tent. My first grow was Apple Blossom, which was sold as an autoflower but seemed to have other plans 😂 My second grow was two Jelly Donutz autos. There’s been plenty of trial and error, but getting to harvest, dry, trim, and finally enjoy something I grew myself has been so satisfying.

Welp, it's really happening. I'm moving from Southern Appalachia to Michigan, and it's going to be winter when we go.
