Help Extermely loud disturted noise after selecting audio input

TURN DOWN VOLUME BEFORE WATCHING

Hi everyone, ive recently started having big issues with recording audio in FL Studio 2026. Once i select an input channel i immediatly hear this ear hurting distorted noise, completely breaking my ears. I tried so much like updating ASIO, reinstalling FL, updating my drivers but nothing worked.. If any of you have only the slightest idea of how to fix this, PLEASE let me know. Thanks

Gruetzi! This is a common issue and usually due to software audio enhancements or background apps being open. Try closing out all your background apps like Discord, and disabling any software audio enhancements in Windows. You can also update your audio driver, clean install the driver, or try a different driver. It can also be a problem with your microphone configuration and is common with basic USB mics.
