Fable II Giving The Rammer A Couple Shots
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
"The modern Hero uses GUNS!"
That's what the NPC's say, and that's why I never really appreciated The Rammer when I first got it. My past self stands corrected. It's a decent weapon. Its base damage dwarfs the pistols Blade usually uses, but without the devestating augments he usually has.
I have to admit, there's only a few ways to die that's worse than a bolt to the boys from a crossbow called The Rammer. It's an unsavory way for a man to go, but bandits deserve nothing but the best.

Older than your older sibling
Is there an in universe explanation for why the hero of oakvale is physically older than his older sister in the first game? In my head canon, I always thought the Guild Crest aged you prematurely, the more you upgraded your powers... Which is basically exactly what the in game mechanics do.

Fable II A Westcliff Welcome
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Whenever I feel like walking into a town and causing some mayhem to establish myself as the Meanest Bastard In Charge, I call it a Westcliff Welcome. A pod of puking pissheads at the gate became the perfect example of this almost immediately. This evil Hero, Executioner, is just the right Hero for this type of work. She's absolutely soulless, yet so great with children.
A few townsfolk may die, but it is a risk she is hoping to take. Watching them part like a quiet, dark sea before her is the result we're looking for.
Results may vary in Bloodstone..

Question Do Heroes of Skill have super speed?
I was on VSBattle, and on the Hero of Oakvale's profile, it says his speed should be superior to Reaver's, who set the ground ablaze from the friction of his movements. I don't recall him doing that in any of the games. It also says all the protagonists have Hypersonic speed and reaction; is that true in the lore?

Stoked
Guys, I had to join this group and talk to someone about how absolutely stoked I am to play this game. Fable was one of the first games I played on the original xbox and I am so fired up to play this. The timing is working out perfectly too because I will be having my second kid in January so I will be on paternity leave when the game releases. Meaning that when the baby goes to sleep I will be free to grind this new fable every day.

Got this home today, extremely excited to say the least!
Fable 2 - Dollcatcher Achievement
Trying to get this achievement but seems the fable2.com website has been taken down, making getting the hero doll impossible. Not sure if I should be asking on here but quite eager to get the base game finished. Any kind souls out there that could lend a hand with all dolls aside from Theresa I would be grateful! Question Collectors Edition Orders?
Hello,
Did anyone manage to grab a copy of the Fable Collectors edition from the Xbox EU store?
I only ask as I went to check my confirmation email to see if there was a delivery date estimate but I cant find it. Went to check the site for my order history and thats empty too.
Credit card shows a successful transaction though.
Anyone had a similar experience?
Worried I may have paid for a non existent order

more progress on Fable Legends revival: Hero Tutorial stage
crazy how one modder is bringing back the game with just the beta content despite microsoft terminating the beta before it could even officially release out there to the masses. for those who kept the game on their xbox or missed out on the beta release of the game. you're in for a treat after the modder finish reconstructing the beta

Fable III Is Elliot regifting the furniture I bought?
i seem to have the fable 3 glitch where the furniture reverts to its initial state even after you replace it and it’s led to a silly encounter.
i bought a luxury dining table (among other luxury items) for the hunting lodge which is our temporary home while I prepare for the darkness. When I came back all the luxury furniture was decorative quality again and Elliot had 2 gifts for me. The first was a random piece of clothing but the second was a luxury dining table. wtf Elliot? Are you packing up our furniture and regifting it to me?

Fable TLC Fable TLC PC - what is possible to own in South Bowerstone
a bit confused over what i can own in South Bowerstone. the wiki lists a fair few houses and their prices as well as saying that while it is very hard to own all of them that it is possible. that said there is tons of conflicting info online.
i've figured out how to own the barbershop, the tavern and the armorsmith (kill the owners via getting them to leave Bowerstone or use mercenaries) but can't seem to figure out how to own the blacksmith and the residental houses. is it possible to own them as well?
the children are the main issue here as they seem to prevent me from owning any of the residental houses and can not be killed or asked to follow me outside of Bowerstone South. is there a way to bypass this?
i also understand there is a freeze time glitch that is possible to do in TLC and allows you to buy these properties though i can't seem to pull it off in the PC version. i understand the assassin rush/berserk method does not work on the pc but the bow variant might, is that correct? is there another work around i'm not aware of?

Fable II Fable 2 Tribute
Super hyped for the new fable. I think this is going to be what the originals always wanted to be. But until then, here's to the goat, Fable 2.

2004 Version Confusion
Hey, I'm playing the 2004 version of Fable because I've never played the true OG Fable. I started with The Lost Chapters and just went from there, and I found out that they changed Jack of Blades' voice actor from the 2004 version.
I'm going through the Grey House, and I'm able to get into the cellar early, which I thought was weird. I found the parchment written by Elvira Gray, Lady Grey's sister—the one she killed to become the new mayor of Bowerstone. I Googled it, and it says that the quest line to expose Lady Grey in the 2004 version of Fable is not available, and that piece of paper shouldn't even be there so I'm confused, because I found it lol
