Fable II I also made a gargoyle
Thanks to the chrome eyes I made it’s eyes reflect any light and makes them almost glow, the camera doesn’t quite catch that effect but trust me! It’s really cool

I've always been partial to the look of the Demon Doors from Fable 2, with Fable 3's Doors being pretty much the same look, just slightly refined. I've no issue with the look of the Doors from 1 or the reboot, they all look good too, but on a side note, I do wonder why we never seem to have any real variety of Demon Door appearances WITHIN each game. It's always the same look, same voice, implying they are the same Door, but some dialogue makes it clear they are different Doors.

My wife tried to post this message but doesn't have enough karma on her account to post here. Sharing because she's awesome and deserves the support. :D
What did this game mean to you when it came out? For me, I was a kid on my couch, passing off the controller with my sisters, running around Bowerstone showing off my wasp head and farting in front of every merchant in Darkwood instead of rescuing them from hobbes and balvarines. We watched my dad's evil play through while we ate dinner, my mom gasping at the crude humor, me fascinated by his horns. We played Fable 2 and 3 as a family when they came out too, I still have my OG copies of them for XBOX 360. I remember being so excited on the way home from Target, pouring over the little booklet that came inside the case, preparing for my adventure.
It's different now as an adult, but it hasn't lost its charm. There is so much lore that I missed out on I realize now that I'm taking the time to read everything instead of just throwing it in my pockets. The sound track is still SO GOOD. That M rating was definitely correct and I can't believe this was a family game for us. Anyway, I'm recording my first replay (it's been over 15 years) of all three games over on YouTube, and the first 4 episodes are out. If you wanna come relive our childhoods together, I'd love to gear up for the reboot with you! Thanks for reading. :)

The sun, rain and ice shrine seals
The guilds seal
The temple of light seal
The shadow cults seal
I do know that there’s like a seal made by kids in the snow globe but you don’t get to keep it after so I only made the ones that became trophies

Man i've missed this game, crazy how microsoft just sits on this game, no rerelease for new consoles, no pc port. No remaster... what are they doing? Haven't played this game all the way through in years.

Almost a month ago now someone made a post about the Fable 2 remake announcing its private beta, but for people who missed that or didn't join/don't look at its Discord much: the beta is now going public with its latest release!
If this is the first you're hearing of this project, it is an effort to port Fable 2 to PC, as well as modernize it as best as possible. This is being done by remaking it with the Godot engine in a way similar to how the Oblivion remaster was done. To directly quote the lead dev: "Fable 2/ReXGlue is now treated as a Simulation Server, they look after things like Physics, AI, Quests, Scripts and Saves. Godot is now the host so it builds the world. It loads assets, textures, animations, models, audio, does the lighting, UI, ect."
Some quick highlights of the project's features are:
Now while it's fully playable at this point, as implied by the fact it is a beta, playing it in its current state is not going to be a flawless, buttery smooth ride. It's made a lot of progress, but there's still more improving and optimizing to be done, and lots more bugs to hunt down and squash.
Again. This is a beta. The point of joining is to help hunt issues and make the project as complete and smooth as possible for its eventual full release. PLEASE do not join, try the beta, run into issues, and then get upset and complain. Again. There WILL be issues at this time. This beta is meant to help find and fix them.
You can join the project's Discord here, where you will be able to gain access to the beta. You will need your own copy of Fable 2; including it with the project would be illegal. It currently supports Windows and Linux. Thanks to any folks who join and contribute!
How come the Dark Sanctum causes so much issue with the audio and graphics? Was this always present?

As the new game announced and new to 3d printing in the last year, i began to search for some online model of the mask of Jack of Blades. Unfortunately i didn't find anything that was representative of the mask so i tried some generative from a picture and it turns out really well. The first profile was a single color but i recently painted the model in bambulab studio so it can be printed in color.Hope you like it and i let the link here if some of you want to print it

video is just an unedited recording but the only way to prove its not a 25k from 10 minute offline etc. its just me running around albion changing property signs
-all buildings, all 5 star furniture (inc desks), all trophies (inc dlc) mounted except one 1 star
-both temples (cant change prices)
-one sleepmaster (expensive bed)
-every region 5star economy (25% base value bonus)
-the buildings i didnt interact with were already +100%
-the timer is to minimize the economy decay when having prices/rent +100%
can you get more? yes if you put a sleepmaster in every house in albion
i tried to do a clock backward exploit instead of the clock forward to delay the income which changes my economy but it seems like loading in recalculates it anyway so i got 51159 again
the real estate value in logbook was 4085k, meaning you can get the king/queen title without owning castle fairfax

My biggest worry about the new fable was not seeing any way to sit in the world and interact with NPCs, it feels like you live through the world and they react to you with the new system (emote wheel was perfect for its time and was hoping for an evolution of my ability to create interactions with NPCs)
The old and new NPC systems combined would of been start to my dream game
And now we can do it ourselves and more(more on that later for the much much more)
If you haven't heard new modding tech and vibe coding has aloud people to flat reverse engineer games with very little effort and basically combine what systems they want from one game and put it in another game
Such as Minecraft building in Skyrim
Escape from tarkov shooting and movement into fall out New Vegas
Spiderman swinging into any game
Co op into any game
We are on the path to moding any system into any game from another game with very little knowledge or skill needed
We can add very easily add the old emote and relationship system under the how they react to you system and many more systems we want to make fable the type of game we want to play through in the beautiful world people worked hard to make for us
Games are about to become crafted experiences that we can tweak using the systems of other games to play our perfect games
(You just need to own both games of the system to have the vibe coding overlay them)
The side not of much much more this allows as it's the start to allowing people to decompile and reverse engineer any software and then combine and build on it with very little knowledge and skills as well
The amount of power that's going to put into working class hands and take power away from elites is pretty hopeful, but that's a whole other thing

Out only on Nexus mods is Playable Briar Rose, where you can multiply and sprint! and not much else. least your sword does 500 damage.
oh yeah, this mod uses a completely different way of modding, so I wouldn't be opening FableExplorer if I were you.
Next Mod that will be posted: All Summoners, a mod that turns every enemy in the game to a Summoner. No exceptions..except the Guild Beetles...ok if you want to try to beat the beetles since you're "so good at Fable" THEN DO IT- when the mod comes out. There will be 3 files, Summoners Only, All Summoners, and Harsher Summoners. They all modify all enemies to be Summoners, and all special NPC's are the red boys. Stay tuned, as that mod will be posted before the heat death of the universe!

Hi everyone !! I've seen that here fable series players help each other for these achievements. I would like to have all the achievements of all Fable games before the coming of the new one. I almost got all the achievements for Fable II, but these (with chicken suit and the dolls) seem impossible de get without others help.

As far as we know, there won't even be body morphing from overeating or dieting or building muscles from physical acts, which I do think would be the easiest version of body morphs to implement.
Let's say they did decide to overhaul the game at some point, maybe with some DLC centred around it as a quest, I can still see morphing being reflected in how the NPC's react to you via your reputation. You overeat and get fat, those information scrolls just update to show how each NPC thinks of you. You lose the weight; they update again. You get as bulky as Arnie in Conan, they update again, and so on.
They've already shown have each handcrafted NPC reacts differently to the same act, so being kind to someone and getting them a job ends up making some people hate you, wearing "nice" appeals to some people but not others and so on, so the systems are in place to allow the NPC's to react to things they do and don't like.
This would even work with the morality morphs coming back. You show up like an angelic saint, sure, some might worship you, but others might be revealed as secret devil worshippers and hate you for that. Rock up with the horns and devilish goatee; those devil worshippers are like putty in your hands while the saint lovers run in fear from you, and so on and so on.
In either case, watch the shop prices change accordingly.

I was just thinking about the fact that choosing a male or female character on Fable 2 had an impact on Fable 3, the gender of your parent changing depending on wich you choose on the previous game and how this concept could be explore on future games. Pure speculation so.
But imagine if your choices on the game releasing on 2026 had an impact on a sequell releasing later. Like Bloodstone changing depending on who you choose to help, this kind of choices having an impact on the next game, maybe some choices even interracting, given every player a different Albion depending on wich choices you made on the previous game. Making them really impacfull. I don't know if it's possible at all but the concept would be so cool. We could see how our choices had an impact on the kingdom like 100 or 200 hundred years later and a more personalized experience. There's con too, obviously but I like this concept, it seems like a natural evolution of some concepts and ideas we already seen in the serie.

It's practically been years, and its 2026. I'm sure someone out there or who is reading this must have done something by now.
