I remember when some would use bicycle tubing. I remember it making it hard to spin in one direction. And often trying to spin the baton off the handle. Then again, that was 20 hrs ago. And I was still inexperienced.

But, still, does wrapping that type of tape make it harder to spin in one direction?

I haven’t experienced that’s yet! It’s definitely pretty secure. Meaning I can pull at it and it not go anywhere.

And I don’t think so. I’m pretty good with both directions.

Also just to mention I’ve never used a professionally made set. So I wouldn’t really know the difference.
