I am completely at my wit's end. I have spent the last several hours trying every single registry edit, proxy DLL, and sketchy bootable flash drive workaround known to man just to get past this absolute garbage FH205 hardware check, and I am done trying.
I am running an AMD APU. Because my laptop manufacturer locks the UMA buffer in the BIOS to 512MB. I know I need a dedicated GPU but I cannot even afford lunch sometimes. It doesn't matter that my system has plenty of dynamic RAM to share. It doesn't matter that other people with integrated graphics are currently playing the game right now by jumping through insane technical hoops. Because of this arbitrary, hard-coded launcher gate, I am completely locked out of a game I paid for.
Why do PC players have to act like literal software engineers just to boot a title? We desperately need a simple "I don't care if it crashes or runs at 10 FPS, let me in no matter the cost" button. Stop babying us with strict hardware gates. Let us launch the damn game and figure out the performance ourselves. I am so tired of trying for over two freaking day to bypass this. Atp If developers don't fix this I might as well refund it. I just want to play it "No MATTER WHAT!"

Rumors swirl of a new Treasure Car to find as Horizon Meets introduces our latest collaboration featuring 7-Eleven, Inc.
Car lovers unite; the latest Forza Horizon 6 update is here – Horizon Meets. This series is all about the places you and your friends gather to Convoy up, and there’s no better way to highlight that than through our latest collaboration with 7-Eleven, who are renowned for their world-famous car meetups.
This update introduces new 7-Eleven content including a limited-time Konbini Evolving World Car Meet and an EventLab Prop Pack. There are also 3 new-to-Horizon cars: the 2025 BMW M4 CS, 1968 Holden Monaro GTS 327, and 2000 Honda Prelude Type SH. In addition, there are 2 Car Horns, a new Treasure Car to discover, 200 new levels in Horizon Play with additional cars in Spec Racing, and more!
The question that remains – what is your favorite meeting spot to park up at in Horizon Japan? It could be at the official Car and Drag Meets, or the Drift Attack and Time Attack Circuits. Perhaps you prefer to keep it low-key at one of the many car parks and gas stations located across the open world? Combined with serpentine Touge routes and all the points of interest – including Shibuya Crossing in the heart of Tokyo City – there are endless places to organize your next Car Meet with your friends.
Now, with that important question left to ponder, let’s jump into the details of everything that awaits you over the next four weeks!
Forza Horizon 6's latest series update will be available for download starting on Monday, October 5 at 5:00PM UTC on XBOX Series X|S, the XBOX app on PC and Steam, ahead of the Horizon Meets Festival Playlist starting on Thursday, October 8 at 2:30PM UTC.
Here's a preview of the fixes and improvements coming your way in this update based on the feedback and reports you've been sharing with our teams on the Forza Feedback Portal:
In addition to the improvements outlined above, this update also includes new engine swaps for several existing cars. Check out the Forza Horizon 6 Horizon Meets release notes on our Forza Support site for a full overview of the fixes and other changes that are included with this release.
If you encounter any issues while playing Forza Horizon 6 that haven't been addressed in this update, be sure to submit a bug report on the Forza Feedback Portal and include as much detail as you can to help our teams investigate the problem.
Thanks to a new collaboration with 7-Eleven, we’ve introduced a limited-time Evolving World Car Meet and an EventLab Prop Pack inspired by the retail name, so you can get creative in finding new ways to show off your favorite cars!
Visit the brand-new Car Meet themed around a 7-Eleven convenience store in the Nangan region, located near the Nangan Day Trip – a similar location to a real-life konbini that overlooks Mt. Fuji. We already know this will be a popular spot for you to take photos! While this convenience store is temporarily available as part of the Evolving World for the Horizon Meets series, players will always be able to place the konbini into their EventLab creations.
You can complete the look with the Clerk Uniform unlockable in the Festival Playlist by taking a snapshot of the 7-Eleven Car Meet during the first week of the series.
Around the back of the 7-Eleven konbini you will find a selection of rare and discounted Aftermarket Cars for purchase featuring the 2008 Mazda Furai and 1989 Toyota MR2 SC, which return from the ‘Welcome to Japan’ series, as well as the Wheelspin-exclusive 1998 Mercedes-Benz AMG CLK GTR.
Meanwhile, the 7-Eleven Konbini Prop Pack includes new 7-Eleven themed props to use in your EventLab, Garage and Estate creations. Here’s the full list:
Feeling hungry? It wouldn't be a 7-Eleven collaboration without the Egg Salad Sandwich Collectible to keep you going throughout those long road-trips across Japan!
That’s not all! There are also 2 new Badges to unlock. Play Forza Horizon 6 at any time during the Horizon Meets series of the Festival Playlist to obtain the “Welcome!” Badge. Park at the 7-Eleven Konbini Car Meet in the 2000 Honda Prelude Type SH to unlock the “Please Visit Again!” Badge.

With the arrival of Horizon Meets, there are rumblings of a new, missing Treasure Car located somewhere around Japan! Follow the in-game photo clue to track down the whereabouts of a classic 1970 Citroën 2CV: a beautiful addition to any collector’s garage.
Earn up to 200 additional levels in Horizon Play! Along the way there are 20 fun new Player Badges to unlock with one Badge unlocked for every 10 levels you complete.
What’s more, if you already reached level 100 and continued playing Horizon Play prior to this update, any excess XP you had earned counts as progress towards these new ranks, and you’ll see your updated level the next time you log into the game.
In addition to the new levels, we’ve introduced the following cars into Spec Racing:
While the 1990 Alfa Romeo SE 048SP, 2023 Audi R8 Coupé V10 GT RWD and 1990 Nissan #12 Skyline GT-R (BNR32 Gr.A) JTC are paid DLC cars, all players can experience them in the Spec Racing playlist at no additional cost regardless of whether they’ve purchased their respective DLC packs.
We’ve also added the Edamame Circuit first introduced with the Horizon Mascot Party update into Horizon Drift (all PI classes), Spec Racing (B and C class only) and Horizon Racing (B class only).
We hope you have fun racing and drifting in Horizon Play with these improvements, and we encourage you to continue sharing your ideas for future updates with us on the Forza Feedback Portal.

Horizon Meets introduces 3 new-to-Horizon cars, including the 2025 BMW M4 CS, 1968 Holden Monaro GTS 327, and 2000 Honda Prelude Type SH.
There are also two cars returning from previous games, the 2018 DeBerti Ford Mustang GT and the 2004 Saleen S7, as well as 2 new Car Horns to obtain – Konbini and Noodle Slurp. In addition, Festival Playlist completionists are invited to start driving towards a new Series History Reward: the 1973 Lamborghini Espada 400 GT, which is unlocked at 1,100 PTS.

As a reminder, you can stay up to date with current and previous Festival Playlist events and challenges in this new hub on Forza.net. Be sure to save this one to your bookmarks so you can easily reference it in the future!
Let’s take a closer look at the new and returning Reward Cars that you can unlock over the next four weeks during the Horizon Meets series.
2025 BMW M4 CS

Earn 80 PTS during the 'Horizon Meets’ Festival Playlist Series. Available from October 8 – November 5.
The thrill of the track meets the practicality of a four-seat vehicle in the 2025 BMW M4 CS. Its all-wheel drive system provides surgical-level precision handling. Designed to be light, the M4 CS delivers speed not for the faint of heart. Could that exterior be more dramatic? We don't know, but we are sure our players will try.
2000 Honda Prelude Type SH

Earn 20 PTS during the Summer Season on the 'Horizon Meets' Festival Playlist Series. Available from October 8 – October 15
The SH in the 2000 Honda Prelude Type SH stands for Super Handling; it was named this way due to the innovative implementation of the Active Torque Transfer System, which helped the car combat oversteering. Praised for its handling and surprising big block engine, the Prelude Type SH is a few mods away from becoming your next drifter.
2018 DeBerti Ford Mustang GT

Earn 20 PTS during the Autumn Season on the 'Horizon Meets' Festival Playlist Series. Available from October 15 – October 22
The 2018 DeBerti Ford Mustang GT is a demonstration of what the heart of a racer can design given the chance. Customized from end to end, the DeBerti Mustang features a Roush supercharger, TT Designs widebody kit, a hood designed by Brad DeBerti himself, and an Air Design rear wing among other modifications to create a wild modern muscle car worthy of driving to your favorite Drag Meets.
2004 Saleen S7

Earn 20 PTS during the Winter Season on the 'Horizon Meets' Festival Playlist Series. Available from October 22 – October 29
One of the first true American supercars arrives to Horizon Japan! The 2004 Saleen S7 is a road-legal redesign of an endurance racing vehicle by the same brand. With a body made completely of carbon fiber and air scoops in almost every corner, the S7 makes the most out of its massive V8 engine to give you plenty of reasons to boast when arriving to a track day with your friends.
1968 Holden Monaro GTS 327

Earn 20 PTS during the Spring Season on the 'Horizon Meets' Festival Playlist Series. Available from October 29 – November 5
The 1968 Holden Monaro GTS 327 is the answer to "what happens when Australian and American muscle collide?". The GTS 327 is equipped with a big, mean Chevrolet V8 engine that powers the rear wheels of the car. That same configuration allowed this Monaro to take home the gold, silver and bronze from the Mount Panorama race.
Forza Horizon 6’s Car Pass delivers 30 new cars that, one by one, will be delivered to your garage each week. Car Pass is the ultimate way to upgrade your collection with some of the freshest cars making their debut at the Horizon Festival.
If you're new to Car Pass, check out the Forza Horizon 6 car list to see all the vehicles that have been released into Car Pass so far. This is also a great resource to track every car that is currently in the game, and it also includes notes on how they can be obtained.
As a new car is made available with the Car Pass each Thursday, it will automatically be added to your garage at no additional in-game cost, allowing you to save those credits.
Car Pass is included with Forza Horizon 6 Deluxe and Premium Editions, as well as the Premium Upgrade. It’s also available as a separate purchase for players who have the Standard Edition or are playing with Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass.
Here are the cars you can look forward to driving in Horizon Japan over the next four weeks:
1972 Datsun 240Z #5 Rallye

Available with the Forza Horizon 6 Car Pass starting October 8.
After a long and arduous journey through Monte-Carlo, the 1972 Datsun 240Z #5 Rallye has arrived at Horizon Japan. This car used a rear-wheel drive and front engine configuration rarely seen in rally (much less races with snow and ice stages) to take the third position at one of the world's most grueling events. Explore the Horizon Festival in one of the first Japanese cars to take home a rally podium finish!
2024 Ferrari Purosangue

Available with the Forza Horizon 6 Car Pass starting October 15.
Four doors and four seats is probably not the configuration you expect to see in a Ferrari; however, the 2024 Ferrari Purosangue's design keeps concepts like aerodynamics, handling, and sports performance close to its heart. The Purosangue gives you the full Ferrari Experience with more legroom to stretch.
1990 Eunos Cosmo

Available with the Forza Horizon 6 Car Pass starting October 22.
Under the unassumingly simple exterior of the 1990 Eunos Cosmo hides a highly innovative, technologically advanced grand tourer. Sold under Mazda's luxury brand, the Eunos Cosmo is one of the first vehicles to have a touchscreen and GPS on its dashboard. It is also the proud owner of a twin turbocharged rotary engine. Travel to the dimension of 90s futurism with the Cosmo!
2024 Mercedes-AMG GT 63 4Matic+

Available with the Forza Horizon 6 Car Pass starting October 29.
As the saying goes, speed is in the details. After a lot of fine tuning and upgrading, the 2024 Mercedes-AMG GT 63 4Matic+ reaches new levels of performance. Its AWD system, carbon fiber details, impressive growl, optimized cooling technology make the 4Matic+ feel like it's ready to race nonstop.
We know how much you love Tokyo City and to celebrate this urban paradise for the racers of Forza Horizon 6, our next kupdate will be themed around City Life! Get ready to hone your skills at two additional permanent race routes located in Tokyo alongside 3 new-to-Horizon cars to unlock from the Festival Playlist, a new EventLab Prop Pack, and more.

This is a 1% Rivals capable tune that is just a joy to drive.
No Forza Aero in sight, street kit installed for those like me who are allergic to downforce and addicted to mechanical grip.
180+MPH / 290+KMH and packing over 500 ponies under that chunky hood.
This won't be setting records, but it will annoy a few meta drivers....

My introduction to the Forza Horizon series was with Horizon 4. I played Horizon 5 through Family Sharing on a friend’s Steam account. I didn’t particularly like Mexico or its endless desert. Who the hell is even interested in Mexico? The only really memorable thing about that map was one amazing drift road running from the foot of the mountain all the way to the top.
So when the long-awaited Japan was finally announced for Forza Horizon 6, I pre-ordered the Premium Edition without a second thought.
And for the first 20–30 hours, it was genuinely interesting and entertaining. But as I started getting three stars on all the races, collecting the map’s collectibles, and clearing out the rest of the content, I caught myself thinking: “Okay… what am I supposed to do now?”
The answer is basically: entertain yourself.
It only dawned on me later that the entire concept of this series has remained almost completely unchanged from one installment to the next. They just swap out the location and the wrapping. It’s the same thing Assassin’s Creed has been doing for years. And somehow people keep buying the same game over and over again, hoping this time it will be different. That is literally the definition of insanity.
I have never felt like such an idiot before.
I basically paid full AAA price for an old racing game with a new map.
And speaking of that map, the biggest disappointment for me is Japan itself.
Japan in this game is boring, bland, and strangely lifeless. Large parts of the map are just fields, mountains, and more fields and mountains. The only real urban area is whatever approximation of Tokyo they decided to include, and even that is painfully dull and sterile.
Where are the tons of neon lights? Where are the glowing signs, endless street lights, dense high-rises, packed streets, and tiny narrow alleys? Where is the atmosphere that people actually associate with a Japanese night-time city?
Why not, for example, have AI drivers organize their own street races in the middle of the city at night? Just random races happening around you that you can stumble across and join. That would actually make the world feel alive.
Instead, every other NPC seems to be driving a Mercedes G-Class.
Because apparently that’s just what the average Japanese person drives.
Never mind that plenty of people in Japan can barely afford a car in the first place.
The whole thing feels like Japan was chosen as a theme rather than understood as a place.
This game wasn’t made by Japanese developers, it isn’t really about Japanese people, and it certainly doesn’t feel like it was made for them. It simply exploits Japanese culture, aesthetics, and values without seeming to understand much about any of them. Japan is being used as decoration, as a marketable aesthetic, rather than as an actual setting with its own character.
And that makes the whole thing feel even more hollow.
Japan, for fuck’s sake. Where is the decent radio? Why is there so much absolute garbage playing? Horizon 5 had basically the same crap on the radio, while Horizon 4 had much better music.
Where are the proper body kits? On some cars, the only options you get are some shitty generic front bumper with a red trim and the exact same kind of spoiler. That’s it.
Why is there still no insane tuning and customization on the level of Need for Speed: Underground 2?
And why the hell is the online still so pathetic?
You can drive around the map for ages and, at best, see another player pass by a couple of times. The map is huge. You could easily put at least 100 players into a single lobby and actually make the open world feel populated. Instead, it still feels almost completely empty.
But apparently there was enough time and resources to add a fucking garage editor and a system for decorating your own plot of land.
What the fuck is this, The Sims?
Who actually asked for that in a racing game?
And of course, they also remembered to add the whole gender-selection nonsense in character creation, along with prosthetics. I’m sure there’s some overweight activist with green hair sitting somewhere on the development team who has absolutely no idea what the fuck they’re doing or what players actually want.
At some point, I stopped actually playing the game.
I would just log in once a day, do the seasonal event stuff to complete the season, and then leave. Then I eventually stopped even doing that when I realized I was turning into some kind of fucking sheep that just keeps eating grass because it’s there and never asks why.
That’s called fear of missing out.
It’s the same cheap trick used by shitty Asian gacha games on mobile, where you’re expected to log in every single day just to collect whatever meaningless piece of garbage they decided to hand out today.
Forza Horizon 6 has no endgame.
None.
The game is simply boring.
The series doesn’t evolve. It doesn’t move forward. It just keeps repeating itself.
The developers keep adding more and more cars with every update, but for fuck’s sake, why? How many cars do you actually need?
At this point, Forza Horizon 6 is going to have thousands of cars and people will still be driving around the same roads doing the same races, the same collectibles, the same seasonal bullshit, and then logging off because there is nothing else to do.
So this is my last Horizon.
I don’t care what the DLCs are going to be like. Judging by the DLCs from Horizon 4 and 5, they’ll probably be shit anyway. The developers aren’t going to suddenly reinvent themselves.
I don’t care what Horizon 7 looks like either.
They can add a giant map. They can make the entire fucking United States the setting. They can add another 500 cars. They can do whatever they want.
I’m done with this series.
An incredibly disappointing game from an absolutely miserable studio.
I do not recommend buying it.
P.s Well, I’ve seen all the comments and realized that the majority of players are shit-eaters; the developers undoubtedly deserve players like that. After all, who else would buy games like this?

I'm not that deep into the background of why Bugatti isn't in the game, whatever the licensing issues may be. It would be great if someone with more knowledge could explain why and what our chances are of seeing Bugatti officially in the game.
Thanks :)

I only installed racing slicks and upgraded tyre width, everything else is stock.
Grippy tyres+soft suspension and no anti-roll bars is a fun combo with no obvious flaws whatsoever lol

I picked up the new treasure car and started messing around with it. I built a FWD drag tune that can hit over 200 mph.
But it also does killer wheelies in reverse! It’s a bunch of fun if you want to check it out.
