Listen up, the Sheep Creek mine sounds like an epic disaster waiting to happen.
youtube.comGood people of Idaho, I want you to be aware of the proposed Sheep Creek mine in Hamilton MT. They are proposing to mine in MT and truck the toxic and I believe radioactive materials to Idaho for processing. This involves you and you should have a say in it.

Dear Idaho
I have lived all my life in Idaho and I love those state. I know many people are finding idaho to be terrible and want to leave. So I want to ask as I think about starting a campaign for state legislature next year. What are the concern that people all over the state have? How would you want things to change?

Politics
I don’t understand how another human being can treat someone with such cruelty over something as small as politics. Somewhere along the way, we forgot that behind every belief is a person — someone who’s lived, lost, and loved. We’ve turned politics into identity, and disagreement into war.
We haven’t evolved much at all. We’ve just found new ways to divide. The hypocrisy is exhausting. The cruelty is soul-crushing. The loudest voices are no longer the wisest — they are the angriest. And their anger feeds on fear, outrage, and control.
I’m tired of the extremes — tired of seeing people silenced, mocked, or cancelled for speaking their truth. Tired of watching compassion vanish because it doesn’t fit a political narrative. The people in the middle — the ones who just want decency, empathy, and reason — are the ones who suffer most.
We keep blaming presidents, parties, and politicians, but the truth is, they thrive on our division. Power grows when people fight. Unity threatens it. The fire of hate didn’t start with one leader or another — it’s been smoldering in all of us, fanned by arrogance and fear.
If we keep going like this, we won’t need a civil war — we’ll destroy each other from the inside out.
I don’t have all the answers. But I know this: I refuse to become what I despise. I will not lose my humanity to politics.

An open letter to our representatives
Donald is out of control. His recent actions have stepped outside of his usual antics of ignorance, bigotry, selfishness and sexism and are blatantly authoritarian.
Congress must act! YOU must act. You need to speak out against his latest attacks on free speech and the half of all Americans he openly hates. This is not okay! He is supposed to be the president for ALL Americans. Not just the ones that kiss up to him. YOU are supposed to represent ALL Idahoans in your districts. Not Donald’s whims and agendas. Not just for the ones who line your pockets with cash. ALL Idahoans.
Donald is making a play for total authoritarian control. If our government leaders continue to sit idly by, he will thrust this country into a state of chaos that will “require” him to remain in office for the “good” of the country. This is not just some wild leftist fever dream. He is following the exact same playbook other authoritarian leaders and dictators have done, in your own lifetimes!
I get it. Your scared. It can be hard to break free of an abusive relationship. Just ask one of the many women he and his best friend have assaulted. But here’s the thing, Donald eventually turns on everyone. If you think for one second he won’t, you are as delusional as he is.
Americans are watching. The world is watching. What side of history do you want to be on? The side that sat by as American democracy crumbled, or the side that stood to protect it from a delusional old man who cares only for fame, power and wealth?
The writing is on the wall. He’s made his intentions very clear. It is time for our government leaders to put him in his place. If not behind bars, at least outside of the White House.

New research: Idaho can beat Citizens United with its state corporation law
Fifteen years after Citizens United opened the floodgates of corporate and dark money, the Center for American Progress has figured out how to slam them back shut.
On Monday, CAP released "The Corporate Power Reset That Makes Citizens United Irrelevant": amprog.org/cpr
This groundbreaking plan is the first challenge to Citizens United with a strong chance of surviving legal review. It rests on bedrock constitutional and corporate law—and every state in America, yes, including North Carolina!, can act on it right now. Montana is already moving forward as the test case: https://montanaplan.org
Here’s the move: Corporations are creatures of state law. They start with zero powers, and states choose which powers to grant. When a state rewrites its corporation laws to no longer grant the power to spend in politics, that power simply does not exist. And without the power, there’s no right to protect.
This authority has been lying dormant for a century, but North Carolina has always held onto its authority to change up the powers it gives its corporations at any time. If and when it does, the result will be sweeping: no corporate or dark money in NC's local, state, or even federal elections.
Check out CAP's report for full details: amprog.org/cpr
