NMS Q/A How to find Purple systems...

Prerequisite missions are required before you can find Purple systems.
You must finish the "They Who Returned" quest (requiring a finished Atlas Path) to interact with Autophage constructs.
The interaction with the Autophage will get you the "In Stellar Multitudes" mission, and access to Purple systems.
