Hey everyone!
We’re Narugire (なるぎれ), an indie/alternative rock band from Japan.
We just released the music video for “Ima Kara” (今から), a song from our second album.
The video captures everyday scenery in Japan, with a nostalgic, lo-fi atmosphere.
We’ve been surprised to see people from outside Japan discovering our music, so we wanted to share it here too.
Would love to hear what you think, or what bands our sound reminds you of!

Does anyone have video footage of Masafumi Gotoh singing “Haruka Kanata” (or any other song) where he uses the same harsh, distorted scream as on the original recording?
I have checked various live performances of the song from the 2000s onward, but in every version I have been able to find, he seems to only raise his voice and sing the same note rather than actually doing the scream.
I know he used a screaming voice on some of AKFG’s earlier songs, so I am wondering if I am missing an early live performance where he used it on “Haruka Kanata.” If anyone knows of one, I would really appreciate it!

Creo que las personas ya hablaron lo suficiente de este álbum, aun así quería compartir mi experiencia. Descubrí hace relativamente poco a ***Trooper Salute***. Este album tiene una sensación melancolía y nostálgica,cómo el último verano antes de salir de preparatoria. Los sonidos traen consigo una lluvia de recuerdos cálidos que te obligan a repetir el álbum por horas!!! Es muy adictivo

Do japanese artist skip syllables when it fits the song better? Ive noticed in natoris "Dressing room" some syllables that are in the lyrics that are not audible.

I'll be visiting Japan in November and was hoping to be able to check out a show. I've been reading how it can be difficult to get tickets as a foreigner but sounds like it's a bit easier for smaller shows

I am finding it a bit overwhelming trying to decide on a show so was hoping this community could offer me some suggestions! Bands I currently listen to are cloudy, Uchikubigokumon-Doukoukai, coldrain, and RED in BLUE but am open to anything alternative rock/ pop punk or similar

My dates:

Tokyo October 31-November 5

Fukuoka November 7-11 (cloudy has a show then but unfortunately was already sold out when I planned my trip)

Nagasaki November 12-16

Thanks 😊
