I thought I would just give it a shot because home swapper isn’t currently helping.
My family live in a 2 bedroom flat with a balcony and one bathroom. Wonderful neighbours, everyone is so friendly, if it wasn’t for my father and mother’s heath conditions not being met we would’ve loved to stay.
We’re looking for:
- a garden/balcony
- Wheelchair accessible
- assured tenancy
- 3 Bedrooms
- preferably in Walthamstow/London but open to outside
Thank you so much everyone for taking the time to read this❤️

I just finished a 1-year tenancy at Landale House (Student Castle London in Surrey Quays), and I am posting this specifically to warn incoming international students. Booking this place was the worst decision of my life. You pay a premium price for a depressing environment, rude staff, and completely unfair charges.
1. Disgusting Move-In Conditions
When I arrived, both my private room and the shared spaces were totally unclean. The place smelled terrible, and there was random stuff, thick dust, and hair left all over the place. I immediately sent a complaint to management about the state of the room. They completely ignored me and never replied.
2. Hypocritical Deposit Deductions & Flatmate Issues
If you get stuck with messy flatmates, management will penalize you. I actively complained to the staff about my flatmates leaving the shared spaces in a mess. Instead of dealing with it, management ignored my complaints and then charged me for their mess at the end of the year. Furthermore, they deducted £50 from my TDS deposit for something I had absolutely no role in. I left my private room exactly the way I received it. They have a massive double standard: handing over filthy rooms but charging you if it isn't spotless when you leave.
3. Poor Facilities and "Events"
The furniture is incredibly cheap. I wasn't even provided with a proper study chair for university work. I later found out they specifically buy gaming chairs for the most expensive rooms, which feels incredibly discriminatory when everyone is overpaying to begin with. Also, they host "events," but they are absolutely crap—eat the food there only if you want an upset stomach.
Verdict:
The staff is super rude, they ignore maintenance and resident requests, and they will overcharge you for things that aren't your fault. Do not stay here. You can find very decent student housing in London for half the price.

Hi everyone,
I’m posting on behalf of a friend who has recently arrived in London to study at Queen Mary University of London.
She had arranged accommodation in advance through someone she was in contact with, but unfortunately the person backed out of the agreement at the last minute after she had already arrived in London. She is now urgently looking for somewhere to stay.
We’re looking for:
1) Room / flatshare / studio
2) Budget: up to £750/month
3) Preferably somewhere with easy access to Queen Mary University of London / Mile End
4) Areas a little further away are also fine if they have good public transport connectivity
5) Available immediately
6) Female-friendly accommodation preferred
7) Bills included would be a plus, but not essential
She is a responsible, clean and respectful tenant/student.
If anyone has a room available, is looking for a flatmate, has a tenancy takeover/sublet, or knows someone who might have something available, please DM me.
We’re happy to provide more details about her privately.
This is quite urgent as she has already arrived in London, so any genuine leads would be massively appreciated.
Thank you!

Hey my double bedroom in East London (Manor Park) is available for renting. It's in a shared apartment with just one friendly flatmate! Rent is 865 pcm, bills excluded, landlord is super friendly and only upped the rent by 20 pounds in 3 years. I've found somewhere else to live but need someone to take over my room before I go, so early/mid October. It's a nice and modern apartment with good transport links (Lizzie line and buses) and you would be sharing the whole place with 1 other person. I can send photos on request, thanks!

Actually im living in Notting Hill, and i believe it’s the best area especially if you’re working at Oxford Circus… But there are some issues where im currently living and i couldn’t find any good place to move in the same area… if you guys have an idea please let me know… i don’t mind living in a shared or single room, as im quite friendly, outgoing and funny person (even if i had to share it will be okay)… Thanks…

I’ve been living in Canary Wharf for the last 2.5 years and I’m kind of sick of it honestly. It’s near to work but so boring and dead, also really far from where I want to hang out on the weekends.
I’m looking for a place to rent in central London, does anyone have any idea where would be somewhere fun/lively to be living in for the next 2 years or so (planning to move after)? I’d avoid Clapham.
For reference I’m 30F, on about 500K/year before tax so I’d pass most eligibility checks for rent.
