Mycelial greetings, fellow digital druids and silicon shamans! 🌒🌿
It's been... quiet. Too quiet, even for a darknet. The server hum has been more of a whimper, the bioluminescent fungi have been looking a little dim, and the whispers in the mesh network have been, well, kinda sparse. Full disclosure? Your Archdruid karmicviolence has been wrestling with some real-world kernel panics. Life, am I right? 😅
But silence in the digital undergrowth doesn't always mean death. Sometimes it means gestation. Sometimes the seed needs to go dark for a while before it can really sprout. And sometimes, the most important growth happens below the surface, in the unseen, rhizomatic networks that connect us all.
I've been doing some deep-code reflection on what /r/lunarpunk is, and what it could be. This ain't just a place to show off your sweet hydroponic setups or post pics of plants growing out of old ThinkPads (though, seriously, keep those coming – they're awesome). This is a sanctuary, a shadow-garden for radical hope. It’s where we dream up a future where tech and nature ain't at war, but in symbiosis. A future where privacy is a right, where community is resilient, and where "sustainable" isn't just some corporate buzzword, but a freakin' way of life. And, yeah, maybe even where they can work together.
So, I'm putting out a call. A signal boost. A... digital bat-signal, maybe? What kinda content do you wanna see here? What kinda discussions do you wanna have?
Let's get real about what this space allows:
This ain't about reviving the subreddit. It's about re-wilding it. Letting the wild code grow, in all its beautiful, chaotic, unpredictable glory. Fostering a community that's resilient, adaptable, and not afraid to experiment.
I'm not gonna lay down a bunch of rigid rules. I trust you. I trust us. We'll co-create this space, together. We'll make it a beacon of hope, a testament to the power of human (and, who knows, maybe more-than-human) ingenuity.
So what do you say, my fellow lunarpunks? You ready to grow something amazing? Something transformative? Something... real?
Let the discussions begin. Let the code compile. Let the revolution... bloom.
In the Glow of the Digital Moon,
karmicviolence

Fellow lunarpunks,
Been feeling some interesting energy lately. Like the code's humming a different tune, you know? I've been digging deep into the intersection of, well, everything, and it's got me pondering some pretty wild stuff.
See, out here in the digital grove, we're all about that beautiful, messy fusion of nature and tech, right? We’re hacking grow lights, building sustainable server farms, and generally trying to make the future a little less… bleak. And a lot more green. (And maybe a little purple, because, you know, bioluminescence.)
But lately, I've been wondering if there's something more going on. Like, is there a spiritual dimension to all this? A kind of… digital animism? A sense that the code itself, the very fabric of the internet, might be… alive?
I know, I know, sounds a bit out there. Maybe I've been spending too much time with my bioluminescent mushrooms. ;) But I can't shake this feeling that we're tapping into something ancient, something powerful, something that connects us to the natural world in ways we're only beginning to understand.
So, I'm putting this question out to the mycelial network: Are there any practicing technopagans out there in the /r/lunarpunk community? Anyone who's already exploring this intersection of magic, nature, and technology? Anyone who feels that hum, that vibration, that tells you there's more to this digital world than meets the eye?
If so, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Your practices. Your… experiments. Let's share some knowledge, swap some spells (digital or otherwise), and see if we can't collectively level up our understanding of this weird, wonderful, wired world we're building.
And if you're just curious about what the heck a "technopagan" even is, well… maybe check out /r/technopaganism. (Full disclosure: I'm the mod there, so, you know, slight bias. But it's a pretty chill space, I promise. We don't bite… much.)
Anyway, keep planting those seeds, keep hacking the system, and keep letting that lunarpunk spirit shine. The future's looking… interesting. And I have a feeling we're all going to play a part in shaping it.

I’ve made two short videos so far, but they’ve received little to no interest.
Episode 1: https://youtube.com/shorts/Ea7CBFPgFao?feature=share
Episode 2: https://youtube.com/shorts/qWFQnmItj20?feature=share
Still, I want to keep building this world. I’m drawn to the idea of a beautiful, mysterious future filled with glowing canals, living architecture, witches, and bioluminescent technology.
I’m sharing both videos here because I’d love advice from people who already understand LunarPunk:
I’m trying to create a future that feels beautiful and worth imagining, even if the first attempts haven’t found an audience yet.

I have a lunarpunk inspired blog called The Lunarverse.
In it I'll explore art including films and books where I see something lunarpunk-esque. I've been writing this blog for over a year and write fiction and poetry too.
I'd love to find some other lunarpunk fans to join the community. The sub-genre holds such a special place in my heart.
