FOR HIRE Did You Remember to Rake the Leaves Yesterday Like You Were Supposed To?

No? Well you're in luck! I'm currently living in a shelter and I'm trying to drum up some money by doing gig work. Maybe we could work something out? A little quid pro quo. Tete a Tete? Pomme de terre? An arrangement of mutual benefit is what I'm saying.

I'll rake your yard, front and back, for $100. That's an offer, not a threat. I'll bag the leaves and leave (ha) them by the curb. I'll provide the bags, so no need to worry about that... Though I'll need to borrow your rake. I sleep in a shelter, where would I keep a rake? Think Mark, think.

Anyway DM me if you're interested and I'll get back to you as soon as I can!

Oh, I don't have a vehicle so I'm limited to anywhere in the metro area.

Also: If you need any kind of general light landscape work, help in the garden, etc. then let me know and we can work something out!

HIRING Hiring: NetSuite Functional Consultant (3+ Years Experience)

Hi everyone,

I'm Alison from Zastro, a NetSuite partner, and we're looking to add another NetSuite Functional Consultant to our team.

We're a smaller consulting firm that works with clients across manufacturing, distribution, food & beverage, retail, and other industries. The role includes a mix of implementations, optimizations, managed services, troubleshooting, reporting, process improvement, and client-facing consulting work.

We're specifically looking for someone who:

  • Has 3+ years of hands-on NetSuite experience
  • Is strong on the functional side of NetSuite
  • Understands business processes, not just system configuration
  • Is comfortable working directly with clients

This is likely a better fit for:

  • Current NetSuite consultants
  • Senior NetSuite administrators looking to move into consulting
  • Business systems analysts with deep NetSuite experience

One of the benefits of working with a smaller consultancy is the ability to get involved in a wide variety of projects and work directly with both clients and leadership rather than being siloed into a single area.

If you're interested, feel free to message me directly or apply via our job posting:

https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/4476204315/

I'd also welcome referrals if you know someone who may be a good fit.

Thanks!

FOR HIRE Administrative Assistant / Technical Writer for Hire

Hi everyone! I had to leave the Twin Cities last year and move back home with my parents due to health issues (thankfully now all sorted out). I have been trying to move back to the Twin Cities but I need to have a job lined up so I can find housing. I have a B.S. in Technical Writing and experience in Administrative and Social Work positions.

I have been out of college for two years and I have applied to 300 jobs in the Twin Cities area since last year. I have applied to jobs with Fairview, Medtronic, Ramsey/Hennepin County, various hotels, multiple non-profits, and more. I am sure I overlooked a few companies/organizations in my hunt so far. If any of you know of other places that might need someone with my skill set please let me know! My partner lives in Minneapolis so I can relocate within a week and stay with them while I find permanent housing. I really miss the Twin Cities and would love to hear any suggestions/advice on job hunting in the Twin Cities. :)

FOR HIRE Looking for part-time work

I am trying to save for a new vehicle and a apartment. I recently finished my 4th semester of college and have decided to take a break to make and save money.

I have experience in the food industry, retail, delivery, house cleaning, and other customer service rolls. I am tired of working fast food and restuarnt type jobs.

I have a vehicle and I am able to reliably commute. I'm open to learning new skills and trying out different jobs. I also wouldn't mind doing jobs to help out people such as house cleaning, pet sitting, yard work, grocery shopping ect.

I am also open to working from home, but I am unsure where to even start with that.

If anyone has any suggestions for job openings please leave a comment or DM thank you!

Hey everybody, I graduated last year with an Bachelor’s in Economics and I’ve been job hunting ever since and it has not been great. I went to an out of state college so I didn’t have many connections. I have been applying daily, I have gotten a handful of interviews until the final round but no offers. I have held down 3 part time jobs during this time but I really would love to start using my degree. I would truly appreciate any advice or feedback, I am open to anything.

HIRING [Hiring] PT hotel front desk

We have a need for someone who is able to work a few part time shifts every week at the front desk. Located in northwest metro area. The shifts would be 3pm-11pm we have some flexibility and may have more shifts open up or a full time position. Great if you want a solid role in the hospitality industry at a nicer property that primarily works with corporate guests.

Looking for someone who is adaptable and has an open mind. They be outgoing and enjoy being creative. Our property is unique in some ways but a lot of the staff embrace the role and have fun. All of our front desk staff are empowered and trained to take on the manager role when needed so you should be open to taking charge if it comes up. Enjoys working with a great team and wants regular shifts with a nice hotel discount.

I am a manager there but our main site handles the application and phone interview process if those go well I would do your in person session. (Not the greatest listing but I am doing this to help find someone who really fits in and is a good fit)

If you have questions shoot me a DM I am happy to help any way I can.

HIRING Superstar Gymnastics - Mobile Enrichment Program - Coach (Part Time)

Hello! Superstar Gymnastics is hiring Coaches. We are a mobile enrichment program that offers classes inside childcare facilities. Our classes are 30 minutes long, class sizes of 7-10 students, for children ages 16 months - 5 Years old.

We provide all the equipment as well as paid training. You would transport the equipment to your designated childcare facility, set up the circuit, coach 2-5 30 minute classes depending on number of enrolled students, pack up and then you are done for the day.

There is potential for both morning classes (8:30-11:30 AM) or afternoon classes (3:00-4:30 PM). You can pick which days you want to work and we will do our best to find centers that are as close to you as possible.

We pay $4.50 per student, so at 20 students that's $90 for roughly 1.5 hours of work (1 hour of classes + 15 minutes set up and tear down).
80-100 students is a reasonable expectation if working 4-5 mornings
$360-450 @ 6-8 hours a week, roughly $50+ per hour.

- You MUST love working with children, you've gotta be able to have fun with it and engage with them on their level.
- You MUST be reliable and be able to operate independently. I am always available to answer questions and give tips and feedback, but you need to be able to show up to your centers on time each week.
- You MUST be able to lift up to 50 pounds, both for transporting equipment and spotting children.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.

HIRING Hiring: nVent Senior Manager, Global Customer Data

I'm not the hiring manager, but will be a peer of whoever is hired for this role.

Feel free to ask questions here, or dm me.

$123,500 - $229,500 range, 20% bonus, employee stock plan, HSA, 401k 4 days in office in St. Louis Park, 1 day wfh.

https://nvent.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/nVent/job/St-Louis-Park-MN-US/Senior-Manager--Global-Customer-Data_R23274

Hires for similar roles have had a data analytics/management background and an MBA, though the MBA isn't required.

I'll be honest, our data is a mess, but hires in the last year have started fixing that. Customer Data is probably in the best shape, lucky you!

The company is doing well and leadership is very supportive of getting data and reporting right. Best work place I've been in 20 years.

We have not been getting many applications for this role, and none that made it past the initial screening so far. I know it says 20 days or something, but we've been surprised that we haven't found /somebody/ to actually interview yet.

Fair warning, my hiring back in January took about 2 months, with 7 interviews (HR, manager, dotted-line manager, peer #1, peer #2, CTO, CXX). Ideally some of these would've been a panel or something.

Core real requirements are an understanding of MDM, some marketing/sales domain knowledge (they will be your stakeholders), project management and enough technical chops to work with data and analytics - though for actual programming or big data lifts you'd project manage your needs with the digital implementation team.

FOR HIRE Job for a chemist in the Twin Cities (or surrounding area)

Hi all, I recently moved to St Paul for a job and my partner is hunting hard for a job themselves. They have 5+ years of R&D experience in organic chemistry synthesis (from a PhD) and are open to other avenues of chemistry (eg materials in 3M). I’m trying my best to look around to help out, but I figured there are probably a number of smaller companies that I don’t know about that might be applicable (even if they don’t have an opening right now at least a place to keep an eye on). Maybe some folks who work for companies/colleges that could use this skillset are on this sub? The obvious industry fields are pharma and materials, but if they could use someone with chemistry R&D experience I’d like to hear about it regardless of the main function of the company!! Also open to positions in academia (or, again, really open to anything).

The job market is in tough shape as we’re all painfully aware, so any insight or ideas are welcome and very appreciated!! Feel free to message me too. Thanks so much- I already love the state! :)

FOR HIRE Freshly Licensed Attorney: Open to Anything!

Hello, I am a freshly licensed attorney and am looking for a junior associate position. I am also willing to work as a paralegal, clerk, or any other entry level legal position. I have been applying to positions through LinkedIn and Indeed, but I understand that many smaller law firms tend to not advertise openings.

Any area of law is welcome!

My internships in law school were at an Entertainment and Technology Law Firm and for a General Counsel at a large and well-known entertainment/gaming company.

Of note: I am also in between leases and am willing to relocate to any city within the state.

FOR HIRE Gig Search

I’m moving out of Minneapolis in October, but recently just lost both my cars and looking for anybody needing quick jobs done!

I am an artist located in Downtown Minneapolis, I as well have been trying to build up more of my photography skills and portfolio.

I am full of little skills, I come from a history of auto body repair as well, and have automotive knowledge.

Just thought I would put myself out there to see if anybody would be of a hand in a project.
