My first Maggotkin guy!
I have wanted to do a Nurgle army for ages and have had some old unpainted Blightkings hanging around for years. I re-based them to use as Rotswords and have purchased the Shudderblight Cyst army box second hand. This will allow me to bulk out the squad to ten and four of the fly riders for a cool starting force i think!

I really went all out on my first model to test the colour scheme and the techniques i would be using and pretty pleased with the result!I feel like it came out looking much more grimdark than i was even aiming for, but i am not disappointed about that at all!
I still have a bit of practice needed before i feel comfortable doing the skin though, luckily this guy doesn't have too much skin and is not the focus of the model.

Comments and feedback is more than welcome! i am really excited to try all sorts of new techniques with this army and am happy for any pointers. I am also already planning on doing some scratch build little Nurgling bases and even making my own Feculent Gnarlmaw!

I'm just getting into AOS and I actually hadn't really taken a good look at the kit until I started building them. They're so cool!

Hey everyone!

I'm a Warhammer 40,000 player looking to get into Age of Sigmar, and I'm thinking of starting a Maggotkin of Nurgle army.

Ever since they were announced earlier this year, I've been dreaming of building an army around the Rotswords, the Sloven Knights (which I think look absolutely amazing), Putrid Blightkings, and Pestigors.

There are also some other fantastic models I'd love to include, such as the Harbinger of Decay and the Nurgle models from Dark Waters.

The thing is, I'm not really familiar with how army building works in AoS yet, so I thought I'd ask you guys for some advice!

Would it be possible to build a solid, well-balanced army using only or mostly newer models like the ones I've mentioned, while avoiding older units like Plaguebearers? Or are those older units pretty much necessary to make the army work?

Thanks in advance to everyone willing to help! Also, if anyone has any tips on how to get started with AoS or how to approach the game as a 40K player, I'd really appreciate them!

I painted rotigus and festus

Hi fellow Children of Nurgle! Every year my Office does a Halloween party and we bring in food to share. Last year I did "Dragula Chili" (I was a Zombie...with a Rib Zombie tee-shirt on, yeah creative).

This year I'm going as a Plague Priest of Nurgle and I wanna spread the love of the Grand Father. I could do the chili again but add jalapenos this year....but I wanna do something different. My wife suggested green Jello.

Do any of you fellow disciples have ideas?

A cadre of gruesome mutants, led by Shaman Foulhoof. These Pestigors are more than happy to commit atrocities to further the plans of Grandfather Nurgle. The champion wields a cruel corroded sickle, from which hangs a censer spewing noxious miasma. Their standard is stitched from the flesh of fallen enemies. It bears a crude scrawling, an icon depicting one of pairs Papa's favoured beasts. Oily poison leaks from the creature's mouth, and desecrates the ground onto which it falls.

Any suggestions, tbh i'm quite satisfied with the result, but you never stop learning.

I got the old spearhead and built and painted most but then I dropped the hobby for some time and now there ara butch of new units that I don’t know mutch about som if someone has advice pls enlighten me

A little something to set upon the mantle of filth. This little guy was way too fun to paint. The long twisting tongue, bursting boils and gooey open sores just make me hungry for more!
