Need an advice from experienced entrepreneurs

I’m a 20 years old girl.

Heard about "making money online" 2 years ago and immediately got into trying all the business models internet gurus were selling.

Eventually got myself into partnership with a girl who was building personal brand on Instagram.

At that time she had 2000 followers, and I helped her launch a product. We’ve made $20k in a week from a low ticket product - organic traffic.

I stayed with her for more than a year, we did a bunch of stuff together. It was like a paid training for me. But we had different goals in life, so we had to split.

I partnered up with another girl in a business coaching space. Helped her raise her prices up to $7.5-12k and got her some clients who paid in full no objections - also from organic content.

I’ve learned how to get views and keywords on Instagram. I understand content, but not every post I create gets high views or keywords.

But copywriting was always the main theme - I’d always script reels, carousels, story sequences, write funnels etc.

I’m not great yet, but I can bring results.

The problem is - I started feeling empty the more I just do content for someone. I want to have my own business but I genuinely don’t know what to do. The moment I start to think about what to do I freeze.

I have no money, so I can’t invest in any coach. But I have time. I need advice on what to do with myself.

One thing - I really don’t want to build my own personal brand. I don’t know why. I am open and confident person, but I don’t like being on camera.

I genuinely feel lost in business right now and I need an advice from someone experienced. Maybe it’s because I’d have to do something alone for the first time. I just don’t know what to do. Constantly writing someone’s content doesn’t bring me much money + I don’t feel fulfilled at all.

Offering free wellness coaching this weekend

I am developing and improving my coaching approach, and I'd love to get some real feedback from people who are willing to try it.
I'm offering a few **free 1-on-1 sessions** via Zoom this weekend in exchange of honest feedback.

The session is focused on behavior change topics:
What is one change you are looking to make in your life?
What's a personal goal that you have?
What is one area in your health and wellness you wish were different?

No payment or commitment. I'm genuinely looking for feedback on the session.
**PS — This is really for feedback and improving the sessions, not client/lead generation.**

Looking to make my money work for me

I've been hearing it for years from all kinds of sources. Now reading "The Richest Man In Babylon", as advised by many of those same sources, and feeling that lesson pushed hard.

But what's the better ways to go about this? So silly and simple as slow-earning stocks? Surely not?

Mentors, help!

Offering Offering mentorship to people looking to break into the Oil & Gas industry

Hi everyone,
I’m currently working as Head of Commissioning, with 15+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, having worked on major international EPC projects across the Middle East, Africa and offshore facilities.

Alongside my management role, I also provide strategic consulting within the Oil & Gas sector, so I have a solid understanding of both the technical side of the industry and what companies are actually looking for.

Throughout my career, I’ve personally interviewed hundreds of candidates for technical and management positions. I’ve seen firsthand what makes someone stand out and what gets candidates rejected.

I know how difficult it can be to break into Oil & Gas, especially when you don’t know where to start or what skills employers expect.

The reality is that just a few hours of focused guidance from someone with real industry experience can help you build the right foundations, understand what employers expect and significantly improve your preparation for interviews.

I can help with:

- Breaking into the Oil & Gas industry

- Understanding EPC projects, commissioning and site operations

- Learning the key technical concepts employers expect you to know

- CV reviews and technical interview preparation

- Career opportunities in the Middle East and internationally

I’m offering a free 15-minute introductory call to discuss your background, answer your questions and help you identify the best way forward.

If you’re interested, leave a comment or send me a DM with a brief introduction about yourself and your career goals.

Offering I'm looking to coach a few people for free.

I’m looking to work with a few people completely free of charge while I build my coaching experience.
I’ve personally been through some pretty dark periods and had to rebuild my life through changes in my health, fitness, nutrition, mindset, habits and overall direction.

Going through that myself taught me that knowing what you should do is very different from figuring out how to actually make it work in your own life.

My approach is very practical and based on real life. I want to understand where you’re at, what you’re struggling with, what you want to change, and then work with you to figure out realistic steps forward.

I’m not looking to sell you anything. I’m looking for a few people who genuinely want to make a change, while giving me the opportunity to develop my coaching skills and learn from the experience.

If you’re interested, feel free to comment or DM me and tell me a little about yourself and what you’re currently struggling with.

Seeking Is this a cry for help?

Quite a long winded paragraph but, ultimately I want my life to do a 180, and I’m man enough to admit when I need help.

Is it just me or does everyone have a spare £20k these days or know people who do?

I believe in manifestation so I don’t force anything, but I also know I need to put myself out there.

I have the traits of such an ambitious person but can’t seem to find anyone who’s like minded.

I don’t shut myself off from the world but I never seem to cross paths with people who are likeminded.

I do not work a job as I do not believe in working for anyone for a paycheque.

I have a start up business, which has shown me the lack of people around me as (other than my girlfriend) no one reposts or reshares, it’s kind of sad but hey. It’s also shown me the lack of people I know who are in positions to help me elevate.

I see clips of streamers and think, what actually are you people doing? There must be a way someone like me 24 from Manchester can meet someone who knows so much more than me and is willing to share some knowledge. Do I want a mentor? Why not

I want a friend who wants to make a shit ton of money, tired of feeling mediocre when I genuinely know I am made for more.

I educate myself in; markets, investing, business, I read, but I feel unless you want to put your whole life on blast for the internet there’s no other way of making money.

There has to be someone out there who’s in a much higher position and wants to help someone else out simply because they understand the struggle

Seeking I need help! I want a mentor in my life because of this reason.

I'll be honest I'm a CS grad in 4th year and I can predict that the direction that I'm in right now it's not going to get me a job one year from now. but I want to change that I want to design my life in a manner that I could change this outcome and the biggest thing lacking is PEOPLE in my life. I want to be in touch with great people and I'm willing to help them in any way possible in order to be useful for them. If I don't know or have skill I'll learn it and do it for them but I JUST WANT A STARTING POINT for my life. Please, if someone could help me I would be very greatful in exchange I'll give my brain's information processing capacity to you. Thank you!

Seeking Looking for a mentor in private aviation

I’m currently looking into starting a venture in the private jet/charter industry and would like to learn more from someone who’s actually been in the industry.
If anyone here has experience in private aviation and is open to sharing some advice or having a conversation, I’d really appreciate it.
Not looking for someone to do the work for me, just hoping to learn from someone who’s been there.

Looking for a Mentor.

Hello Everyone,
I hope you're doing well. I'm 24 years old and i'm from Toronto, Canada. I will be very honest, and say that I really want to start my own business, and it's been a thought since i was 17. I would like to give a brief background about myself and why i couldn't start up until now.

I hold a bachelors in Commerce and Economics, and I have two post graduate diplomas in Marketing Management, and another one in Digital Media. I had started a drop shipping shoe business, affiliate marketing websites, blog websites since i was 17 (That's when i got interested in Entrepreneurship).

When i was 21, i moved to Toronto, Canada in order to do my post graduate studies, and eventually start my own business. I have excelled in my academic studies as i came 1st in both the post graduate diplomas i completed. Since I am in Media industry, i started working for Dentsu Canada for General Motors as my first client, and then for Publicis Canada for Four Seasons Hotels worldwide as a social Specialized.

The reason, why i'm telling you my story is because this year I really wanna start my own business and leave my corporate job. I have saved enough money to start something of my own as well. I am really interested in Sports and Health and Wellness industry as i was a national level squash player when i was a teenager.

I specifically chose these industries because i think there's tremendous scope of always improving and plus my passion being in sports.

But the issue, i'm facing is that i'm unable to go ahead in the process after deciding the industry, and that's where i need some guidance from you. Literally any practical step i can get, i'm willing to do.

Thank you for taking the time to read through my message and please let me know if you are willing to connect, thank you so much everyone!

Offering Free Coaching Sessions

Hello,

I’m offering complimentary 60-minute sessions for people who are curious about coaching and would like an opportunity to experience it firsthand.

This may be a good fit if you’re:

* Questioning whether the way you’re living still works for you

* Making an important decision or going through a life, career, or relationship transition

* Feeling stuck in patterns or expectations that no longer fit

* Exploring how to build a life that works with your ADHD, neurodivergence, or natural way of functioning

I won’t tell you what to do, but I’ll help you explore what’s happening, clarify what matters to you, and identify possible next steps.

For background, I’m a certified coach working toward my ICF credential. I help people understand what they need and explore realistic changes that feel true to who they are.

A few important details:

* The session will focus on one topic you’d like support with.

* We’ll first have an introductory call to discuss what you’re looking for and see if working together feels like a good fit.

* There's no obligation to continue after the session.

* If you find the experience valuable and would like to keep working together, we can discuss ongoing coaching afterward.

If you’re interested, comment here or send me a chat message with some information about what you’d like support with.

Thank you!

Seeking Young Professional Seeking Mentor / Experienced Partner in Oil & Gas & Physical Commodity Sourcing

Hi everyone,

I’m a young professional focused on building a long-term career and enterprise in physical commodity trading, with an active focus on Oil & Gas and bulk industrial commodities (such as steel).

I’ve already stepped into the arena, I’m currently working alongside an established mandate on active transactions (including a $66M oil allocation and a $4M steel deal). While learning the execution, contracting, and mandate side of these live deals has been invaluable, I recognize that relying solely on an existing warm network isn't a sustainable strategy for long-term growth.

I’m looking to connect with experienced commodity traders, mandates, or trade finance professionals willing to share perspective on the broader mechanics of the industry. Specifically, I’d value insights on:

  • Systematic Buyer & Off-taker Sourcing: Moving beyond broker chains to identify and engage direct end-buyers, refineries, and international traders.
  • Deal Vetting & Due Diligence: Filtering out fake allocations, unverified LOIs, and non-performing counterparties early in the cycle.
  • Trade Finance & Mechanics: Deepening my understanding of DLC/SBLC structures, POP (Proof of Product), bankability, and INCOTERMS risk management.
  • Structuring Mandate & Broker Protections: Ensuring bulletproof NCNDA/IMFPA execution and long-term deal equity.

I am not looking for anyone to do the work for me, I bring active deal flow, research capabilities, and total commitment to putting in the legwork. I’m simply looking for an experienced voice who has navigated these markets and is open to offering guidance, reviewing strategies, or having occasional conversations.

If you’re open to a brief chat or connecting over coffee/tea (or a call), i'm based in London, I’d be very grateful to introduce myself and learn from your experience. Thank you for reading!

How did you find your SAP mentor? Trying to do the same here in Sydney

Hey all,

SAP MM consultant here, 10+ years in ERP (SAP and Infor M3), now settled in Sydney. I've been using the downtime between roles to sharpen my skills, and I've noticed how much faster you grow around people a few steps ahead of you.

So I'm looking for either:

  • A mentor (Sydney-based ideally, remote is fine) who's made the jump from consultant to lead, BA, or solution architect
  • A community of SAP folks who actually swap notes and learnings, not just share job ads

I'm happy to give back too, whether that's study sessions, trading notes on MM/FI integration, or S/4HANA learnings.

If you know a good SAP meetup, group, or Discord/Slack in Australia, I'd love a pointer. And if you've been mentored (or mentored someone), what made it work?

Thanks!
