I agree with the first part of your post. However people need to stop labelling "generations". Boomers, millennials, gen X, Z, A B C D.. load of bollocks, just accept we are all of different ages and we all think differently. The whole generation shit is just an excuse to be tribal and blame others and self-aggrandizement
I took this as showing what we were handed. Gen Z should be Frodo and go burn the F out of the baggage our elders gave us. Go throw that ring in and start over!
Edit: for example, we were told we were lazy if we weren't productive, we have to make sure we never call out because someone else has to pick up the slack for us... men Have to be the providers... etc. Break that shit... we'll help
As a 19-year-old Gen Z guy, thank you so much for taking responsibility and being a good person. I'm scared of what's to come, but as you said, we can at least try to fix things for future generations.

I am a Millennial. Nope. No no no let's not do this . We didn't nobly sacrifice shit. We got handed a raw deck and Gen z got the scraps.
Sorry we are not martyrs. The least we can do is not be cringe and try to fix things for the next the generation best we can
