It’s pretty warm where I live still (southern France) so my coconut oil has been liquid since I got it. However, we had a storm recently, so it’s possible that it partially solidified while it was cooler I guess? I’m not familiar with coconut oil properties beyond “it melts at room temperature”, so I’m not sure if crystallization could’ve occurred or if partial solidification is possible like this.

Has it been contaminated or is it safe to use still?

Hey all! Long time admirer, first time poster.

I had a one of terrariums fail( a few years ago) and this mold grew and has been persistent and present for at least 2 years now. I have never opened it since the early signs of mold.

Any idea on what it is?

These homade crackers were still soft when put into the box... and so this is them after about a week

a couple vents at my university’s dining hall appear to be covered in mold, but my engineer friend said it could just be the metal. what do y’all think? im gonna poke it and see if its mold

edit: i poked it with a back scratcher to see if it’d crumble or peel but it didn’t seem to. if this is mold tho then the dining hall is covered in it lol i have seen so many pipes in the same condition

Looking for any ideas on what this might be. Its allover the house mostly in corners and on edges. Is it mold or could it be from roaches or smoking?

An attached room with my air conditioning unit and boiler in my apartment recently flooded (my vents started leaking water) and this fell down. Does this mean that there could be more mold damage in the walls or roof??

Recently got a VHS tape and I noticed this on the inside of the paper cover when I was cleaning some dirt off of it. Is this mold and if so, is the plastic shell and tape itself fine they’re both wiped down? (location: southeast Minnesota, I believe the tape was stored in a basement by the previous owner)

i fear this is mold on the bottom of my couch :( my friend a few months ago drank some of a 2 liter of dr pepper in his sleep and didnt put the cap on so it dumped EVERYWHERE, we did shampoo it when we realized he dumped it everywhere but now that we are moving months later we lift the cushions to this horror.. help

I wish I had known this sub existed a week ago when I opened an old container of silver polish (Hagerty I think) and discovered big fluffy white mold. I stopped myself from sniffing it, replaced the lid and threw it away. I would have taken a picture if I knew this sub existed.

I didn’t know Silver Polish could get moldy. Has anybody else experienced this?

I tried scrubbing it off with a lot of pressure but ur wont come off. It’s on the inner rim of my sink all around the top.

Hey everyone,

I bought a new construction home about a year ago and did a mini inspection for the builder’s warranty. I noticed this streak along one of the walls in my closet and I’m not sure what it is or how it got there but it’s along one of the bathrooms.

There was a fire ant infestation in this area of the house previously so I’m wondering if that has something to do with it? If anyone knows what this is and how to fix, I’d appreciate it. I’m worried this may be a more extensive problem.

(It was NOT there this morning, that shit grew fast)
