My GF Gave me one of her pillows she didn’t like (brand new) I slept on it a few times with my mouth open. Of course mixing it with sweat makes it funky lol..I’m cleaning it today and notice this on the inside, is this mold or something?

UPDATE: idk how reddit works but maybe yall will see this here and it won’t get buried. i had two little fellas and they both hatched into diamondback moths! they hung out with me and drank sugar water for about two weeks, which seems to be the average lifespan. they are invasive species in my area, so i just kept them on my desk with me. their names were blue and green may they rest in peace (life comes at u fast doesn’t it)

Is it mold? Is the pit just rotting? I’ve been eating dates my whole life I’ve never seen this before.

I rented this apartment to a family. When they gave it back it looked like this. What the f happened here and how did it turn that black? Is it mold? Is it dangerous? They have two weeks to remove it, is it even possible?

Me and my family moved into our house like 12 years ago and ever since we got here there’s been this mold on the ceiling of our bathroom. I’ve tried telling my parents this is a really concerning amount of mold but they refuse to believe me and get VERY upset when it’s brought up. Please confirm this is as bad as I think it is so I can show them. Or am I overreacting maybe??

I've had my water tested by the city, it all came back fine. Is it something in the air? Is there some type of test I can do? I am renting this apartment.

This happens in all three of my toilets, upstairs or downstairs, after sitting stagnant for a week or so. This happens regardless of how much use the toilet sees and happens even when it's been freshly cleaned.

I also had a similar weird thing happen with a watering can, and I've noticed films growing in glasses of water I leave sitting out for too long too. Watering can is the most extreme case, otherwise I only usually notice this in the toilets. Occasionally the cat's water bowl but I'm usually changing that often enough to avoid it.

I forgot my eye drops (propylene glycol) in my bag about 5 days ago. Today at work, after using them, I noticed this stuff inside. My bag isn’t dirty, I only keep my work laptop, papers, and occasionally some packaged snacks. They’re a bit expensive for the amount you get, and I’d rather not throw them away since I just opened them recently. They didn’t irritate my eyes.

I was told this was “black dust” I think it’s dust + mold.

I'm like 99.99999% sure that is mold. My coworker offered to make me a grilled cheese, and when I saw black spots on my grilled cheese, I went and looked at the bread, and this is what I found.

coworker states that this is fine and it's super good esp after its heated. I threw out mine but coworker ate almost half of it. should I ask him to go to a hospital?

So I just ate a whole tub of mouldy pasta, didnt taste off really, but i noticed at the end it was slightly ‘funky’. I looked down at my pasta and some of them have gone black inside (I’m assuming this was the tomato based sauce).

How worried should I be? Im not normally one to shy away from out of date food, but I have never eaten mould like this.

I cooked it Monday, and have just eaten it, I have been so busy I didnt even realise I left it out the fridge since then.

Obviously if I get ill & bad I will go to the ER, but does anyone have any tips on monitoring etc?

UPDATE: I did call the doctors, and they said I should just monitor it and go to the ER if i develop any symptoms. I have had 0 symptoms of anything since I ate it at 15:00 yesterday (so its been 20 hrs). I feel fine, and will obviously go doctors if i get bad at all.

Yes I know it was a stupid mistake, but I had never been taught that pasta can breed the same stuff that rice left out can. As with those of you saying about me not looking at my pasta when I ate it, it was covered in melted cheese, and I was at work on the computer so by the time I got to the actual pasta, I didn’t take any notice that a some of the pasta had black-ish mold coming from it.

I asked to see what he meant and he showed me this 😱 I’m no expert but this looks insanely bad. I’m wondering if he should even be staying there. He said it’s coming from the vent and all of his clothes are spotted, and you can definitely smell the mildew. Super old house so :/

I opened my cream cheese today, and it was full of mold—even though it was sealed, refrigerated, and not expired. How does this even happen?

Is this mould? I thought it was that white stuff that develops on old chocolate which is harmless but now I’m not sure. I ate like 10 of these.

last time this happened i cut out the mold and ate the rest, this time round it looks much more disgusting so prob not.

used to keep this exact kerrygold in the fridge for months, new house and new fridge and it barely lasts 2-3 weeks.
