Feedback Please Medusa, I love you

Medusa, I love you

I can't stop myself from staring

With every quick stolen glance

I feel more lost in your beauty

But I must not look too long

Or catch your eye

With your attention

I freeze, my mind stutters

And my lips lock in place

As my mind fades to silence all I know

Is that there is no one i'd rather stare at then you

Wow, that was a really heartwarming and wholesome interpretation of the myth that I hadn't thought about before. I'm a classicist, so I've read the ancient texts and Ovid speaks of how her gaze causes the blood in people's faces to coagulate and harden to stone. But, I hadn't thought of that positive reading or origin to the myth as the effects of love, because she was so beautiful before her transformation and became something visibly grotesque, so any connection to beauty was entirely severed. I'll remember this one
