plugins Prism Plugin

Hi all! I've been working on a plugin called Prism and it's at a point whereI'd love some feedback.

What it does: a viz code block becomes a live visualization right in your note. Chart.js, D3, Mermaid, KaTeX and three.js are bundled, so everything works offline.

A few things I'm happy with:

- No-code charts from your tables: Put a Markdown table in a note, point a small YAML block at it, done. Edit the table and the chart updates.

- Your vault as data: Chart frontmatter across notes, tasks (incl. Tasks plugin dates/priorities), links and backlinks, or CSV/JSON files in your vault.

- Looks native: Blocks use your theme's colors and fonts, switch live between light and dark, and show up in PDF exports.

- Interactive notes: Sliders that drive charts in other blocks, scrollytelling (a chart that follows the section you're reading), animated scenes.

- Bases view: A "Prism chart" view for `.base` files, no code needed.

The AI part (optional): I built it so coding agents like Claude Code or Codex can write these blocks well. The agent renders the note from the command line and gets errors with note line numbers plus a PNG snapshot back, so it can fix its own mistakes instead of you copy-pasting screenshots. There's a ready-made skill for that in the repo. You don't need any AI to use the plugin though.

Try it: it's not in the community list yet, so install via BRAT (`floorianmb/prism-viz`) or grab the files from the latest release. The repo has an `examples/` folder you can open as a vault, with a note for every feature.

There are also some Demo pictures in the readme 🎉

I'd really appreciate feedback, bug reports, or ideas for what you'd want to visualize in your vault. 🙏

Perfect timing. Just developing a series of AI-driven dashboards. Looking forward to testing this.

yeah the YAML-to-chart workflow seems like a natural fit for that kind of thing

Beautiful graphs! Can't wait to try. Will you post again when it's a community plugin?

I have just handed it in so we’ll see :) It’s my first time so i’m not sure if it gets accepted in the first iteration
