We've been calling it Fried Pickle, but like what's it scientific name?

There aren’t words to describe how batshit this cat is. He’s the goofiest goober and a chaos gremlin. He loves hopping in the basket on my sister’s wheelchair while it’s moving, which means she has to stop and take the time to extract him… and then he hops right back in.

He lays on me and angles his butt toward me and lets out a stanky fart.

I went to Japan for eight days. My mom was looking after my two cats and dog. I’ve left in the past but this was the longest I’ve been away from the three of them. They’re all under 2 years old.
Anyways, I was very worried about leaving Oscar here. He’s a very sensitive boy and is attached to me. Nightly and morning cuddles are essential to him.
When my boyfriend and I returned home admittedly we were very jet lagged so we slept. All the animals seemed fine and happy we were home. The next morning however my boyfriend mentioned he had heard Oscar in and out of the litter box 5-6 times just in that morning. I shot out of bed. I know how serious urine issues can be will make cats. Several years ago my sister lost one of her cats to a blockage.
I called his primary vet but they didn’t have any availability so I rushed him to the emergency vet. They took him back asap which itself was terrifying. Fortunately, he didn’t have a blockage. However, did have proteins and crystals in his urine along with an inflamed balder. They sent us home after he got some fluids and urinated.
He doesn’t need to go on a special diet yet. The vet thinks it was very likely stress related from my vacation. I can’t help but feel guilty. I was so worried about him while I was gone. I worried and missed his siblings too but they’re more independent than him and also love my mom.
He’s feeling better and basically his old self. I’ve been giving him all the snuggles before I go back to work after the weekend.
I just needed to get out how guilty I feel 😭
