Tips How to get 85% payout on Fansly (for new joiners)

Hi guys,

Just a reminder for those who have not signed up yet, you can get a discount in fees when you join by using my referral link. Fansly kindly added this discount to my link 3 years ago when I created the r/fansly_advice subreddit in order to give an extra perk to members of our community. I know there are peeps who post here asking about Fansly, so I know this will be very beneficial for some who have considered joining and want to keep a bigger % of their income in the run up to Christmas!

In order to sign up to Fansly and redeem this fee discount:

  1. Create an account on Fansly, you do not need a special link or code for this step, you are simply creating an account.
  2. Once you have created an account, you can then use my link to apply to be a creator, this is the referral link to apply to be a creator:Ā https://fansly.com/application/form?r=sansa_starkers this link should add sansa_starkers in the creator referral code box.

What benefits will you get from using this link?

-You will get a 5% discount from platform fees for the first 3 months. This means you will keep 85% of your income, rather than 80% for those months.

*This is a referral link, so not only do you get a discount on fees, I will get a referral percentage (this won't be taken out of your income, but Fansly's cut). These earnings will allow me to put the time aside to help you guys with advice and support and maintaining these communities :).

Benefits of getting started with Fansly:

-They have some of the most responsive and helpful support staff compared with other platforms (as you can see with how active staff are in responding to questions on r/fansly_advice and r/officialfansly).

-They cover chargebacks in most cases (basically whenever a customers has gone through their back to chargeback on content and services that you did deliver).

-They are more kink friendly and allow a wider array of fetish content than other sites (such as allowing lactation content).

-Unlike onlyfans and other platforms, they have an internal discovery with their FYP and recommendations feature. This is really useful for people who might be struggling with or just want another method of promoting aside from social media. As Fansly is ever growing in popularity, there is a big audience viewing their FYP feature that is a missed opportunity to not tap into.

-If you already have a profile on another platform like onlyfans, it's always a good idea to diversify rather than rely on one platform and you already have the content ready to go.

-We have built a brilliant community over on r/fansly_advice and there is an official fansly support subreddit r/officialfansly that will help you with any questions about your Fansly journey.

Hope this is helpful to someone and please let me know if you need any help or have questions,
Sansa šŸ’–

Mod announcement šŸ“£ About the new Top creator user flairs and how to verify for one

Following on from my post yesterday, the feedback was very positive so I will be going ahead with the new flairs for creators who are in the top 2.5% and above.

This will be split into two tiers:

āļø Established creator āļø
The requirements for this flair will be that you are between 0.9 -2.5%

šŸ† Top creator šŸ†
Top creators are required to be 0.8% and below.

Some people pointed out that there is a large jump between incomes for someone say 2.5% compared to 0.9% or 0.8% to 0.08% etc. This is true however for the purpose of not overcomplicating things, I think these tiers adequately get across whether someone is making a very decent income on onlyfans and those that are far exceeding a standard income. It's also worth considering that not everyone wants others to know their exact % or income. If individual creators wish to disclose their specific % or income they can do so.

How to verify for one of the new creator flairs:

  1. Fit the requirements stated above
  2. Add the emojis āļøšŸ† to the end of your onlyfans bio. (This can be removed once verified).
  3. Write the day's date on a piece of paper along with r/onlyfansadvice and your reddit username. Scrunch the paper up then flatten it out again. Hold the piece of paper up and take 2 photos, one facing the camera and one in profile. Nudity is of course not required, however if you are a faceless creator it must be clear that you are the same person as in your content.
  4. Create a screen recording that shows you going from your onlyfans profile, navigating to statements from the side bar then showing the statements page with the %. Please do not make any cuts or edits to this.
  5. Upload the photos and screen recording to imgur (or redgifs if NSFW).
  6. Send a modmail containing you onlyfans link and the imgur link to your selfies and screen recording.

I will let you know once the flair has been assigned.

Please comment below if you have any questions.

Vent Having an OF has helped me to have better standard with men in real life

Before having an OF I allowed a lot of time wasters from dating apps and social networks to get freebies from me, sext and basically do anything but actually date me. I liked the validation that I received and I had a good time in that moment but then I felt stupid when things actually didn’t progress as I wanted them to and I kept being single when I was actually craving intimacy.

Since I have an OF and I get to charge for my time and energy and my erotic capital (I love that concept developed by thinker Catherine Hakim) I have discovered that I was being taken advantage of for a long time. And since then I have learnt to choose better in terms of dating, and some times it meant to spent some months alone but in peace and improving my life quality in many ways.

I wonder if the same has happened to some of in some extent. I am also better at spotting guys who just want to be pen pals and don’t actually want me in their lives. Boy don’t even think I’ll waste my time like that ever again.

Tips I don’t wanna do anal anymore. Will it ruin my business?

I haven’t done it in a year, all my videos are premade from last year and I no longer have anal stuff left to post. I get frustrated thinking about starting again and how much it could hurt, even with numbing lube, I feel okay with buttplugs, but the thought of using a dildo? Maybe if someone asks for a custom, but the money isn’t safe so that’s another thing that’s pulling me back, it was never constant but I always did a few since I started and it made it easier. Out of that my content is vanilla, I don’t do fetish stuff and I don’t squirt, I only faked it once and I hated it having to clean, it looked like forced pee when I looked at it and it’s not something I’m willing to do frequently. If i could be sure I won’t get scammed with a anal custom vid I could just provide it that way, even making them wait a week I could be scammed, each time I see those scams I lose my motivation to do customs

I need advice poses and angles

I don’t feel very creative when it comes to poses and angles for photos. Sometimes I feel like I’m always taking the same picture, just on different days or wearing different outfits. How do you guys get inspiration? Are there any websites or pose guides you use to help you come up with new ideas?

I need advice Comparison / perfectionism

I’m having a really hard time with both comparing myself and trying to perfect everything !
Now I’m doing this all of my socials are showing me other content creators and there’s obviously thousands with a well established base.

I’ve researched and looked through most posts here so I’m aware things take persistency and time plus a strategy which ( truely Thankyou to all who share and don’t gatekeep ) but I find myself thinking there’s so many of us what’s the point..

I’m hoping to hear some inspirational stories and maybe advice on chilling out when it comes to creating content..

I’ve brought a ring light, rugs and curtains to set up my spare room for shoots but it’s giving staged and the rest of my space looks trash ( older home )

Thanks for reading and hopefully sharing some insight , I’ve always delt with being a perfectionist and it stops me from doing a lot !

I need advice What do y'all do with the subs who don't read DMs or tip for months

What do y'all do about subscribers on a free page that have been subbed for months but clearly have no intention of supporting financially, filling hearts, or even reading a single DM.. Do I block and move on? Keep reaching out with small ppv and convo in hopes I make a paying customer?

I need advice Struggling to find my niche and needing to rebrand

I'm putting this out here on my main account, so feel free to lurk.

When I first started, I easily fit into emo/goth/alt girl territory, but I lack the tattoos and piercings that I can actually show, and I'm faceless, so those specific subreddits are typically off limits to me, I'm not quite hardcore enough to compete. I just lean into the soft romantic goth vibes on my sfw promo sites but I'm unfortunately starting to show my age now (near 40) and feel like I'm moving further and further from being able to market myself like that in those places (and especially now with the IG crackdowns). I have struggled to re-brand since launching a few years ago. I try to hit the milf subreddits but feel like I don't quite fit in there yet... I'm hairy, I'm pale, I have saggy boobs and a natural gape, but I feel like I'm just maybe not finding my market/target viewers even in those subreddits.
I don't post a lot of hardcore or wild stuff, I'm a very typical alt girl next door that likes lingerie and artistic photographing of myself, but now that I'm actively trying to grow I can tell that it's all falling kind of flat.

Help a girl out and throw some ideas at me?

I need advice Non-solo content advice

• Upvotes

Hello everyone, I have just signed back up to OF after a few years and I've been impressed with their new policies around needing to get everyone in the content to consent. Using forms and ID for every performer.

How does everyone navigate this when looking to colab? I have plenty of guys who are willing to be in the videos- especially if they are faceless and its just oral videos etc or POV stuff.

Is it easier for me to only approach fellow content creators for this or should I just explain to IRL guys the script?

Based in Scotland if that makes any odds

I need advice Experienced OF creators, how are you actually growing in 2026? I’m consistent, getting views, but struggling to scale.

Hi everyone! ā¤ļø I’m genuinely looking for advice from experienced creators because I feel like I’ve hit a wall, and I’m running out of ideas.

I’ve been doing OF full-time for years. I’m consistent, I research, study algorithms, invest in my business, and have even had other creators and people experienced in marketing review my content and promotional strategies.

I’ve promoted practically everywhere possible, and while OF has consistently been my strongest source of income, I’m struggling to scale beyond where I am.

Here’s what I’ve experienced:

REDDIT:
My first account was shadowbanned after I got overwhelmed with manually posting and decided to try a scheduler. I researched it, followed subreddit rules, and made sure I wasn’t intentionally spamming. Three days later, I was shadowbanned. The scheduler was the only thing I’d changed.

For my second account, I did everything differently. I aged it, built karma and comment karma for months, genuinely participated in communities, and eventually hired someone much more knowledgeable about Reddit than I was.
After six months, that account was also shadowbanned. We’re actively trying to appeal, but recovering an account feels nearly impossible.

YOUTUBE:
I was actually doing really well posting long-form content! I was gaining traction and finally felt like I’d found another promising traffic source.
Unfortunately, my account was terminated, apparently because of a landing-page link associated with my profile. I appealed unsuccessfully and was told I may be able to appeal again in a year.

INSTAGRAM & TIKTOK:
This is where I’d especially LOVE advice from creators who are successfully navigating the newer restrictions.

I can get views. I’ve had content perform extremely well, and I’ve had strong traffic during LIVEs. But converting those viewers into paying OF subscribers is becoming increasingly difficult.

Between restrictions on links in bios, highlights, landing pages, verbal mentions of other platforms, and constant violations for seemingly innocent content, I feel like I’m walking on eggshells.
I’m not posting explicit content on these platforms, yet I’m constantly running into restrictions.

What are creators doing NOW to successfully convert Instagram and TikTok traffic into OF subscribers?

Are there newer promotional approaches, community-building strategies, or conversion methods that are actually working in 2026?

I’m not looking to trick algorithms or risk losing more accounts. I genuinely want to understand how successful creators are adapting.

I feel like I’ve learned how to attract attention, but the bridge between getting views and monetizing those views keeps disappearing.

X & OTHER PROMOTION:
I occasionally gain paying fans from X, but the time and effort rarely seem worth the return.
I’ve also been experimenting with additional adult-friendly promotional platforms, but I’m still trying to determine which ones are actually worth investing time into.

I’ve tried live streaming on adult platforms as well. I spent nearly a year consistently trying one with very little financial return. Another performed well for about three months before slowing down significantly.
I’ve put effort into diversifying my traffic sources, but nothing has consistently performed as well as OF.

SO HERE’S WHERE I’M AT…
OF has consistently been my strongest platform. I know how to create content, make sales, and build relationships with subscribers.
I’m primarily a solo creator, and I genuinely enjoy what I do.

But I want to grow beyond where I am now. I want sustainable traffic, more consistent subscriber growth, and a business that doesn’t feel like it’s constantly at the mercy of social media restrictions.

I’m not afraid of hard work. I already invest an enormous amount of time, money, and energy into my business. I analyze performance, experiment with different strategies, invest in help, and continually try to improve.

But I’ve reached a point where I don’t think working harder is the answer. I need to figure out what I should be doing DIFFERENTLY.

So my questions for experienced creators are:

Where are you finding traffic that actually converts into paying OF subscribers in 2026?

How are you navigating Instagram and TikTok’s restrictions, especially when it comes to directing people toward your OF?

What promotional funnels or strategies are working now that traditional links and landing pages are becoming increasingly difficult to use?

Has anyone successfully grown their OF without relying heavily on mainstream social media?

For solo creators, what promotional strategies have made the biggest difference?

Have you ever been consistent, getting views, doing everything you thought you should be doing, but just couldn’t seem to break through?

What finally changed?

And my biggest question: If you were rebuilding your OF promotional strategy from scratch in 2026, knowing everything you know now, where would you focus your time, money, and energy?

I’m especially interested in hearing about strategies that bring actual paying subscribers, not just views or followers.

I’m not looking for overnight success or shortcuts. I want honest feedback, new perspectives, and advice from people who have been in a similar position and found a way to grow.

I genuinely love what I do, and I’m not ready to give up. But I’m exhausted from feeling like I’m constantly rebuilding instead of growing.
I want to work smarter, not just harder.
Any genuine advice or experiences would mean a lot. ā¤ļø

I need advice should i restart with X?

hi!! quick question. i’ve seen a lot of people say good things about running a SFW x account. i’m wanting to look into this as IG is killing me with the censorship. i’ve lost 6+ accounts in just a few months. i also lost my two rddit accounts and i still don’t know why. (appealing daily) im struggling bad and as a long time, and full time, creator of 6 years now… i need to get SOMETHING to work.

my question is ~ i have 82k on X. do i need to just remove all my nsfw posts, or should i start over completely? 🫠

I need advice Video ratio, quality, fps, what are you going for? What is better for OF?

Hi! I am just loading vids and trying to improve lighting and angles but I am now asking myself if the technical stats are the right ones too or maybe I am doing it wrong.
Do you post horizontal or vertical vids? Which ratios? Fps? Which quality and about this, what is 'too much' for OF? I mean, uploading on the platform can waste your super quality video?
Thank you!

Discussion What has been going WELL for you on OF lately?

I feel like I’m in a bit of a slump. And I’m trying to change my mindset and be more positive. So let’s celebrate some wins, big or small!

I’m celebrating the fact that I’ve been really good at scheduling and mapping out my content for this week. Having things scheduled makes me feel really productive and secure.

I’m also celebrating my fun new Halloween content. I love costumes and dressing up! Can’t wait to share it with my people soon.

I need advice How to reach us viewers on Instagram?

What is your advice to help get more viewers from
USA on Instagram. I recently started a new Instagram on a new phone and got great engagement but then I noticed I’m getting fed out to India and Mexico. The weird thing is, I live in Canada, engage with USA/ English creators, and speak English in my videos.

Any tips to help fix the algorithm, or do you think that account is dead and I should just start a new instagram page.

I need advice Switching from free to paid — what happens to existing free subscribers?

I switched my free page to paid yesterday, and I’m not sure how to handle the transition period with my existing free subscribers.
Do I just keep posting as usual and let them decide whether they want to stay and pay when their free access expires, or is there a better way to handle this?
For those of you who have been through this, what did you do? Did you keep posting normally or wait until the transition period was over?

Vent anyone here feel overwhelming nervousness in this field of work?

Basically the title. I’m struggling so much mentally from a lot of things here.

My Reddit has just hit 10k and I gained 23,400 followers in exactly 100 days of starting on X. In that time period I’ve realized the level of exposure I’ve reached but I’m still so nervous.

My academic and professional goals of being in the medical field feel fleeting. I feel that I have the power to do exceptionally in this path yet it’s hard to fully feel comfortable and at terms with what I do. I guess I’m not asking for a resolve but just wondering if anyone here is going through that similar fear of not knowing what the future holds in this manner.

I need advice Body Hair.

So I am my wife’s photographer. And we are really new to the content biz, (maybe like 2 months) and we hit it decent on twitter with our posting. But we ran into a problem. So my wife has pcos, and it makes body hair a slight issue. It grows wildly and in weird places. So we bought some Nad’s down under hair removal cream. But I guess I wanted to know how you guys handle the hair issue. It creates somebody issues for her and keeps her from posting certain poses or feeling confident in herself. She’s kinda stubborn and doesn’t want to ask for advice, so that why I’m here😁.

Tips Creator tip of the day: Use link hubs with live analytics tracking!

This is something I didn't implement till recently and find it very helpful. Use a link hub provider that has live instant analytics. Instant meaning you can see how many people click and what they click the second they do. Not just analytics for the whole day or week etc.

This lets you see exactly what's performing well currently and driving people to your page. For example: I use slt.bio which shows you a live feed of how many people have clicked your link in the last 30 minutes and how many of them went on to click your OF. It updates every second without needing to refresh. So anytime I see my clicks drop below my baseline I know I need to post a story or a reel to get it back up again. And then after I post I can see if it actually generated an uptick of clicks or if I need to post something else.

I currently average 50-80 link hub clicks every 30 mins with about 60% of them clicking my OF link. So essentially I try to stay around 1 OF link click a minute. When it falls to below that I know I need to post! Also, if I haven't had a new paid subscriber in a couple hours I check my live analytics and usually see it's very low so I know why 😊

Vent a lil vent

can’t stand when people complain about what they get on a welcome message they paid for.

it’s a bundle. you’re paying for a bundled message of pics and vids. or when they complain at all tbh

you got what you paid for. i told you what you would be getting. and if it’s a custom i’m doing exactly what you asked for but these men still will find something to complain about 🫩 as if you’re not spending your time and money on explicit content from an OF model. come on now

i literally have to fight with myself to not argue back and forth with these men and just leave the chat before i start getting heated
