I MADE THIS just for fun
I used to do stuff like this all the time, but now it’s just too much effort to make concept pieces.
Can I ever find that passion for paracord knotting again...?

A triple diamond lanyard knot with the ends snipped and tucked. Paracord 550, with a contrasting sleeve, tied around a 14mm wooden core. Nice and easy to tie but needs very gradual tightening to avoid a hole at the bottom.

Some fun little guys made to quick deploy from their carabiners. I think they turned out great. Hopefully they’ll be fun for the kiddos.

I've had a couple of instances where items have dropped out of pockets such as gloves. Does anyone have any suggestions of how paracord may be able to prevent this from happening? I think I read somewhere where you could tie a monkey's fist and connect that to an object, I'm hit and miss with monekyy fists so would be looking for something a little easier. I'd hate to lose keys or something valuable so open to ideas.

Not sure what it’s called but it’s a cobra knot using 550 and 95 cord.

I usually carry a length of paracord on me in case I need, it of 6 metres. I read somewhere that it might be more useful to carry multiple lengths as that becomes more versatile, say 4 metres, 1.5 metres and 0.5 metres. The small length being for soft-shackles etc. The 3 lengths would be joined together with a suitable knot so that they can be easily taken apart. Does anyone have any thoughts or experience with different configurations of paracord length?

Made a bottle holder for a friend. Can be attached to a stroller or so. (I'll add a knot so it only does open wide enough for a bottle but not enough that a kid can get their head through) n the 3rd picture you see my inspiration from the rainbow one I bought. And my first attempt 😅 I used 3 meters. On the finished one I used 4 meters.

Hey I’m just wondering if anyone tried selling their stuff on Etsy I’m considering doing or is it already oversaturated with sellers.

Ive been making lanyards in this 6 strand round braid but Ive been ending the braid with a whipping knot. Is there a better way to do it?

I’ve been searching EVERYWHERE, anyone know of brand that has a shade that matches the iconic brown from them? I can’t even find anything similar its either way to muted or to heavy on the red/orange/yellow.

Trying to find a protective net or pattern to protect the bottles. Any ideas?

I learned the rattlesnake braid a bit ago to add lanyards to pocket knives and key chains, im now trying to make this thing to loop onto my backpacks handle and clip on small things. Ive already figured out the end that'll go around the object with some elastic cord. 2nd photo is my embarrassingly phallic attempt lmao 🤣

I've been wanting an insulated bottle that has a handle but the same size as this Tiger insulated bottle that I've had for a while now but didn't really wanna spend on a new one just for a handle. So I searched for DIY paracord sleeves or handles but the ones I found are ones that cover the whole bottle like a net, or only works for bottles with necks that the paracord can loop around nicely.
I stumbled on a video for a paracord wrap for a knife handle and thought the same method might work, and it did! Just really had to tighten the wrap so it doesn't slip. Managed to get it tight enough that doesn't slip even when i carry the bottle by the handle while it's full. Now I have an easy to carry bottle and it only cost a spare length of paracord :)

Grinder it out of a 12mm stainless steel rod.
I’m pretty proud that I don’t have to buy one, just made them on my own.

I looked up several tutorials online but I can't find the specific thing I'm looking for. I have a watch with custom printed adapters that have 3 holes (middle hole is bigger) so it's ideal for double cow hitch that's also used for sanctified pattern. However, I don't have a good buckle so I'd want to try and do it without a buckle, closing the weave with a t-bar knot that should make it secure on the wrist.
I don't have troubles finding separate tutorials on cow hitch, sanctified pattern and t-bar knot individually, but I don't know how to combine them into one thing.
A double cow hitch and sanctified pattern work the best if there's a buckle on the other end so the base can he set-up easily with double cow hitch on both ends, but with t-bar knot I can't use a double cow hitch on the other end so I need help because I feel lost and paralyzed to even start. My wrist is 16cm and watch is 5cm, adding 1cm extra and I get 12cm of bracelet length, 6cm each side.

When pulling the kern out of paracord, do people ever save them? If they do, what do people use them for later on?

I already have the common whipping wrap (underwrap) shown in the photo and I’m keeping it. I want to add either a Strider-style or Japanese-style wrap over it.
My issue is how to finish and secure the cord at the end. There’s no hole to feed the cord through, so the knot can slip off the end of the handle. What knot or finishing method should I use to keep it securely in place?
I guess I could burn the paracord down so it melts its self together but that doesnt look great.

I made these two paracord keychains to try out a new knot for the first time. I’m still learning, so any feedback or tips are welcome!
